Wednesday morning. I woke up to the sun shining through my blinds. I knew it was going to be a good day. I started the day off with a big Turkish breakfast. A boiled egg, slice of toast, some Turkish sausage and to finally some menemen.

We headed off to school with my two hosts Federica (Italy) and Weronika (Poland) and met up with my friends Ciaran and Jake. We went up to the library to start of our multi-cultural group project.

Our first project was to make our dream school with a budget of 2.500.000 euros, looking at areas such as class sizes and how the class size would affect our learning skills. We then had to sell our schools to our teachers.

After Lunch our task was to work in groups to create a game board with educational themes.

In the evening everyone came back to the school for a Scottish Evening. We had Scotch broth for statert, Haggis, Tatties and Neeps for our main and Cranachan served with scottish truffles and shortbread. It was really tasty!

After we danced the evening with a traditional Scottish Ceilidh with a live band called “Da Hooley” We had lots of fun.
