On Thursday morning we met at the car park and after two hours we arrived at Františkovy lázně – a famous spa town. Czech pupils organized a guided tour through the town for foreign teams. All liked the statue of a small boy František – a symbol of the town. Then we visited the Imperial spa house, where were heard about treatment of infertility and gynaecological problems.
Later we arrived at the city of Karlovy Vary. There an orienteering game prepared by Czech teachers took place. We were divided into 8 teams and each team got a worksheet with tasks and questions about the city. So we had to find some interesting places and some information about sights, traditional cafes and mineral hot springs.
In our free time we tasted the hot springs and bought some typical wafers – “Karlovarské oplatky”.They were really delicious!
Then we used a shuttle bus, which took us to our coach and we departed for Most, we arrived there at 18:30 p.m.
