A Mystory is a pedagogical tool that fits very well with the philosophy of this teacher as she speaks of experiential learning. The information is "out there." The learning process is heuretic (inventive) rather than hermeneutic (interpretive) although both styles can co-exist. Rather than approaching knowledge from what is already known (the professor as the wizard with the key to learning), students approach from the side of not-knowing but finding out. Heuretic learning is electrate learning.
I also found this video, another TEDx lecture, on the differences in the brain between rote learning and improvisational (heuretic) activity. The mad scientist rap alone is worth the price of admissions.
