I am an unrepentent biblioholic and Amazon.com is to me what the local saloon is to the town drunk. There is no 13-step plan for biblioholics and I wouldn't join one even if there was one. WIth ebooks and iPads gaining popularity, I may someday be able to pare down the clutter of my consumption of the forest of pages in the woods of my life... but not likely anytime soon. I like to hold a book in my hand and turn its leaves, to caress its spine and to conjoin my eyes with its text. It does for my consciousness what nicotine does for a smoker. To have, to hold, to read, to cherish, I am addicted to the autodidacting discourse of a good book. I am infected by a bibliomaniacal meme. Below are the jackets of just some of the books I consider myself to be "currently reading."
June 2013: I've finished all of the books listed below and I'll update my new reading list soon!
"I have always imagined Paradise to be some kind of library..." Jorge Luis Borges
