Starman

Can you find me in this participatory culture?  I C U C ME LOL!  I was one of the members of "Spotlight Starman" (mentioned in Henry Jenkins' book Textual Poachers.  We had a convention/"Family Relaxacon" for the cast, crew and fans of the TV show Starman at my house years after the show had been cancelled.  We had gatherings, fanzines, campaigns for revival... and it's still going on!  The TV show (based on the movie of the same name) told the story of an alien father trying to care for his half-human son and was cancelled in 1987.  "Spotlight Starman" is having another gathering in October 2010 in Los Angeles.
