Warren, who signed the Mayflower Compact. If Puritans existed today, I would be tried as a witch under the charge of cetaceanthropy (my own neologism), the dolphin-human version of transforming into a werewolf.The Puritans had found their homeland in England untenable and set out on ship in search of new lands, unable to make the best of where they were. Carl Sagan, the exo-biologist, astronomer and cosmologist believes we humans, as a species, may never have a similar option.While I have been able to shake off the Puritanical memes that ran alongside my genes in my family history, I have entered to win a "Green House" (a house that is ecologically friendly) in Plymouth, Massachusetts, home to those first New World Puritans. The winner will be announced in June 2010. Maybe I will be able to once more return to my ancient family's earth.UPDATE: If I won the house, nobody has told me but I chance to believe the gods of Chance declined to help me out on this one.
