I studied "Method Acting" of sorts at HB Studios in New York along with the Sanford Meisner approach from his school of acting at The Neighborhood Playhouse. The Method is Stanislavski's approach of actions, obstacle, relationships and super objectives. Stella Adler's Acting School encouraged imagination, Lee Strasberg at the Actor's Studio encouraged emotional recall, Sanford Meisner was about reacting. Today, I am approaching Method from an Anton Chekov approach only instead of applying it to acting, I'm applying it to my characters in my creative writing. My talents are latent on the stage (I'm not a very good actor, despite my training) but I've found more success behind the word processor, where I've always felt more comfortable. My acting credits include two student films: "Amanda and the Alien" at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and "Ciggie Madness" at the University of Southern California. "Amanda and the Alien" was made into a low-budget feature film. I wasn't asked to reprise my role as Amanda, that role was picked up by Nicole Eggert. The black-and-white photos are my studio photos of me in my interpretation of "Amanda."Update June 2013: I finally got a guest star spot on Brent Spiner's webseries "Fresh Hell." I have one line. I did two webisodes and had a great time. All those acting lessons finally paid off!
