Blyth Philatelic Society

About the Society

About the Society

The Society first met in October 1940. At various points during the 1970’s and 80’s the society was reduced to a membership of three, but the winding up of societies at Morpeth and Cramlington led to several of their former members joining the Society in Blyth. In the 1990’s, the society formed twinning links with the Philatelic Societies of Solingen in Germany and Lange-sur-Marne in France and has made exchange visits to both towns.
