Every year the Association holds a convention of the member societies, which is normally held in the Bowburn Community Centre, Durham DH6 5AT on a Saturday in April, along with a Stamp Fair and displays and competition entries by members of the individual societies. Our Competitions page allows you look at competition entries from member societies that have been presented at the annual NEPA Convention
Each year at Convention, individuals may be awarded either the NEPA Award of Merit or be asked to sign the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists.
Also an individual is invited to take up the position of President of NEPA for a period of one year.

Other Events organised by NEPA or its members
NEPA normally hold a bi-annual Auction in October/November and May. The next NEPA Auction will take place at the Bowburn Community Centre, Durham DH6 5AT on the 27th June2021.
Viewing from 10.30am, Auction Starts 1pm
Further auctions will take place (hopefully) on a Saturday in May 2022 and a Saturday in October/November 2022

NEPA 8 Page Competition
The purpose of this competition is to encourage society members that have not previously participated in Federation level competitions to enter in the future.
The idea is to have no hard and fast rules for this competition but there are a number of guidelines that it may be useful to follow - for further details please follow this link
