May 2024 AUCTION REPORT
The NEPA suction held on the 18th May 2024 was another fantastic success. A total of 800 lots went under the hammer and sales hit a new record of £3347.50. Overall, 70% (567 lots) were sold with hammer prices ranging from £1 to £90. Of the 25 vendors who submitted lots, 4 sold 100%, 4 sold 90%+ and 5 sold less than 50% of their lots, accounting for 62% of unsold lots.
Special thanks must go to Dave Foster and Rick Temperley who have retired from running the NEPA auction very successfully over the last decade and beyond. Also, Bill and Nigel for being auctioneers on the day; Val and Stephen for recording bids along with Christine on the computer. Finally, thanks to fellow members who did various tasks before and on the day and to those who attended the auction.
The next NEPA auction is due to take place on 17th May 2025, we are limiting the number of lots to 600.
