7/16 - Spent most of the early day in Recon. Wayne waltzed in with the one robe they stole and got robes for the rest, who then snuck in late afternoon under the guise of bringing in Muta-fruit and spoke with Seamus and the rejects sorting crew. Walked around the complex after stashing their stuff in the bag piles near Seamus. ACE came up with plan to rig cage to be able to be opened from the inside. Found Generals deadman's switch with Grim's help and ACE and her pumped FEV back into truck while Wayne, BW, and Doc had to sit through a CoC "service" before escaping detection to get their gear.
Their cunning plan was to release the last Deathclaw while the arena fight was going on and in the ensuing chaos kill the general.
Unfortunately Conner was expecting this and isolated Grim in the Deathclaw Cage area and tried to fight her alone, but failed miserably as he was torn limb from limb by a very angry deathclaw.
The rest of the team drew attention to itself by first acid spraying the brood of centaurs (and causing them to scream out in pain, which then drew the attention of the Behemoth), but also Mini-nuking the Behemoth "Moose" into oblivion.
This caused a chain reaction of anarchy in the arena, while also enabling the lone deathclaw in the warehouse to bust free as it answered the call of its fellow Deathclaw in the arena. What followed is a blur of caranage and chaos as Deathclaws mauled Mutants, while Seamus and the General were locked in mortal combat. The Gotham Knights rushed to their ally's aid and with judicious amounts of firepower helped secure Seamus's victory over the general and his control of the remaining super-mutants. Who, at Seamus's command, began to slaughter the Children of the Cathedral. While the Deathclaws made their escape from their captor (making sure many died for their mistake of getting their way or trying to stop them).

By dawn's light the damage was assessed, Seamus was in charge, the general was dead. The dead-mans switch went off, but because they pumped out the FEV it was not a complete bio-disaster. Of the 125 Mutants and Centaurs, 1 Behemoth, 2 Deathclaws, 75 CoC cultists, and 48 slaves, there were 80 Mutants and 48 slaves left.
ACE figured out how to destroy the FEV after finding Conner's trap for her (a nuka cola machine loaded with bottles of Nuka Cola that were actually FEV filled) by pouring acid over it. She then spent several hours cleansing the tanks as well as the off-loaded FEV in the tanker truck.
Doc tended to the slaves and the wounded Super Mutants, and had forced ration controls for the slaves, of which some fell sick after eating.
BW, Grim, and ACE went to the National Guard Armory and found it trap laden and bare of loot.
7/18
Seamus, along with the nice and shiney skull of the General as his trophy, and his smaller army wrapped up their provisioning and headed east with plans of avoiding any human contant, where possible. They left that evening. Doc found that the Prospector Pork and Beans was posioned, probably by Conner, and lost a few patients.
7/19-7/22. Focusing on the slaves, they found that they were leaderless and would like to be escorted to someplace safe, like Thorn, but would want to do so with at least 5 of their strange muta-fruit B trees. So after ACE, with the help of many, rigged up the trailer of the tanker to be a flat bed, they went and got the bus and started hauling several young trees along with finishing up the harvest of the fruit that was there. They loaded up what food was there (except for the Pork and Beans), and the loot of the fallen. Which included a stash of 12 stealthboys, 1000 rounds of assault rifle ammo, 12 assault rifles, 50 frag grenades, 50 missiles, 3 missile launchers.
Later the group went to the Airport and found that while there were some antennea up on top, none were the type anyone was looking for, be it the B.o.S or Keri of Thorn. Still they packed that, along with a windmill, to the top of the bus and made plans for the slow trek north, moving at the pace of the Medfordites (who were descendants of those H&D employees who had stuck around after the war).
7/23-7/26 Travel to Thorn - no problems along the way. Arrival in Thorn was met with amazement and excitement. Proof of their deeds was the metal arm of the General along with Waynes epic tale telling. A meeting with the Council at the Rosebud Inn's drinking room, secured information that the Band would leave at the end of the harvest, after the "Thanks-giving" celebration to head up north to Corvalis for a Job. The Mayor was working with Veronica to ensure that as, per their agreement, they will have all the V33 slaves ready to go on that date as well. Lastly they would welcome the Medfordites with open arms as fellow growers and were excited to learn of the new Mutafruit trees, but were saddened to hear that the area was a bio-hazzard zone would soon wither under a blight released by the general (yes the Gotham knights lied to them - they want to keep the Harry and David place a semi-secret so if they need a fallback position they can go there - this lie will be repeated whenever it is asked of them or any of the surviving Medfordites). BW spoke with the bulls and for the most part they were planning on staying in Thorn and open a Mutafruit Brandy and Cider distillery with their soon to be wives. Keri, while slightly disappointed to find that the antenna she wanted was not found, was eager to learn more about the Wizard island project and their plans, should Phase 3 be successful, to no longer need their vast forest of antenna. Still she accepted ACE's gift and would attach it to her existing array right away. That night the radio played music and announced the new that the super mutant threat was dead.
Wayne made his way to the King estate and spoke with Veronica about her plans going forward: by acting as a HR resource manager where former slaves are now employees who get paid in room, board, and a small wage who can voluntarily work or leave and she takes a small cut. He decided to stay for dinner...and breakfast.
7/27 found the Knights heading back to Crater Lake to obtain their training in Power Armor.
7/28-7/29: Received Power Armor training. During this time they considered the pros and cons of membership, but in the end the decided against it for the simple fact they would not put technology above lives. When ACE at some point mentioned her true love for Science and Dark Lord Madrid, Paladin Wu told her that he had heard of him, that he might actually be up somewhere near Portland.
7/30 returned to Thorn. Thus concluding the war of the south.
