So one of the things I do to keep my GM skills honed is subscribe to Roleplaying Tips by Johnn Four (http://www.roleplayingtips.com/) .
Recently he asked how to better improve a GM's ability to think on his feet and he got over 100 responses and he compiled them into a single PDF that I have hosted here in the Rules Files section, entitled Thinking+Fast+On+Your+Feet.pdf under the GM Section. Got some great ideas and worthy of a read.
Another, that I recently subscribed to, is Gnomestew. also full of great posts and you can subscribe to at their website (http://www.gnomestew.com/)
So you ask, why would I subscribe when I can surf there on my own. Simple, we all live busy lives, and we forget one day, then another passes, and another, and soon we no longer stop by. But Email, that medium of both immediacy and permanence, combined with the portability of Cell Phones, enables you the subscriber to read on the go, nearly anywhere at anytime. It acts as a reminder as well to keep up on your skills.
