Well that's it folks, a year and a bit later, 23 - 6+ hour long sessions later, 4 months of planning later, hours upon hours of painting miniatures, building terrain, printing handouts, and blogging it all. All in an attempt to create a world immersive enough for 5 souls who would wander the personal Wasteland I created. Was I successful, well that is for the players to decide. Personally I felt this campaign was one of my greater GM successes.
So the last Trail blog has been written, the terrain shelved, the miniatures put away, the setting guide and item cards now rest peacefully in the closet of chaos.
But is this end of my love affair with the wasteland - certainly not. This was my third foray into the world of Fallout and I suspect I shall be returning one day again, once I finish playing through Fallout New Vegas at least a dozen times.
And I know I will certainly be returning during one of these upcoming conventions - I have a one shot that I will certainly blog about here when it is ready and play-tested.
So this is not "The End" but instead is a pause, a time to regroup and rethink the future, a brighter future...underground.
