This task is in 2 parts and can be done either as a Photoshop task or as a Graphics task in your visual diary.
You need to start by developing a company logo for your imaginary company. Choose a company from one of the following:
A company logo is a symbol of your company’s identity. It creates your customers’ first impression of your company. The best logos send a message to customers about the company’s values, create brand loyalty and give company letterhead, vehicles and signs a more professional appearance.
There are many ways of creating a logo in Photoshop. Use the following LINK to help you to set up your file. You may use some of the ideas from this file but you will have many good ideas yourself.
Flatten your completed logo and save it a .jpeg file then you can print it out using Photo Gallery
If you choose to do this as a graphics project in your Visual Diary you will need to experiment with different designs and colours. You will need to do at least 4 ideas designs before deciding on your final. You may choose to use a slogan as well but this is not necessary.
The Business Card:
Using your logo you are to create a business card to promote your business. The card should have
If you are doing this as a graphics project in your visual diary you will need to do it larger than a real business card but still in proportion so measure 19cm x 11cm. Again you will need to do at least 3 ideas cards before your final piece.
If using Photoshop the size of the file is to be 8.5cm x 5.5cm at 300 pixels per inch. This will be a multi layered file so consider using the opacity change and the filters on the layers. Again flatten the finished business card file and save it as a .jpeg file to print using "Photo Galler"y so that you can display it in your visual diary. Again, half sized is preferable.
