Date: October 21st, 2024
Location: Maranacook High School
Audition Registration Fee: $10 Per Student
Registration fees need to be mailed ahead of time or paid at the door.
Whereas judging staff is hired based on registrations received, schools must pay for the number of students they register for auditions as opposed to the number who actually attend the audition (which is usually less).
Students whose fees are not paid by the time of the audition will not be permitted to audition.
If, after the registration deadline, a registration mistake is found or a student "needs" to change their voice part, the audition in question will be automatically moved to the end of the schedule (approximately 8:30pm) unless and earlier opportunity presents itself.
Note: Students may audition for both vocal and instrumental festival ensembles. However, students must choose only one instrument or voice part on which to audition (i.e. not clarinet and bass clarinet, not tenor and bass) with the exception of percussionists. If you have students that wish to audition for multiple instruments or voice parts, you need to sign them up twice and pay for both audition slots.
Results of the auditions will be announced by email within one week of the audition date.
Registration Fee: $20 per student
Registration Deadline: January 17th, 2025
Registration Form: Please fill out a copy of the D3 Invoice appropriate to the festival: Click Here for Invoice
Music selected by guest conductors and purchased for performance at the festivals is collected at the end of the festival and stored in the District 3 Music Library for use by District 3 members or for future Festival use. Schools are billed for music not returned.
Please be sure to read over the D3 festival policies to learn more about withdrawal, chaperones, fees, and more!
