Auditions
Timing: the Monday of the third week of October
Date: October 16, 2022
Location: Maranacook High School
Audition Registration Fee: $10
Registration fees need to be mailed ahead of time or paid at the door. Since plans for judges etc. are made according to registrations received, schools must pay for the number of students they register for auditions as opposed to the number who actually attend the audition (which is usually less). Students whose fees are not paid by the time of the audition will not be permitted to audition. If, after the registration deadline, a registration mistake is found or a student "needs" to change their voice part, the audition in question will be automatically moved to the end of the schedule (approximately 8:30pm) unless and earlier opportunity presents itself.
Note: Students may audition for both vocal and instrumental festival ensembles. However, students must choose only one instrument or voice part on which to audition (i.e. not clarinet and bass clarinet, not tenor and bass) with the exception of percussionists. If you have students that wish to audition for multiple instruments or voice parts, you need to sign them up twice and pay for both audition slots.
Results of the auditions will be announced by email within about one week of the audition date.
