Audition Registration Form:
School Registration: Submit ONE for your school
Student Registration: Submit one for EACH student audition
Audition Registration Form Deadline: October 21
Audition Materials: See Below
Bring your registration fee to auditions. You'll need ONE CHECK per school. Since plans for judges etc. are made according to registrations received, schools must pay for the number of students they register for auditions as opposed to the number who actually attend the audition (which is usually less). Students whose fees are not paid by the time of the audition will not be permitted to audition. If, after the registration deadline, a registration mistake is found or a student "needs" to change their voice part, the audition in question will be automatically moved to the end of the schedule (approximately 8:30pm)
Note: Students may audition for both vocal and instrumental festival ensembles. Students must choose only one instrument or voice part on which to audition (i.e. not clarinet and bass clarinet, not tenor and bass) with the exception of percussionists. If you have students that wish to do this, you need to sign them up twice and pay for both audition slots.

Music Distribution and Preparation
Once students have been accepted for the festival, music will be mailed to their school. Students are expected to learn the music well before attending the festival. Chorus students need to memorize their music. This music, selected by guest conductors and purchased for performance at the festivals, is collected at the end of the festival and stored in the District 3 Music Library for use by District 3 members or for future Festival use. Schools are billed for music not returned.
