ingredients
1 teaspoon yeast
¾ cup warm water
2 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
Pinch baking powder
2½ tablespoons Greek/natural yoghurt
2 tablespoons oil
pizza stone(s)
butter/margarine, chopped parsley and garlic to brush on top
method
Either: use a bread machine on dough setting (place yeast on bottom then flour and other ingredients on top) or: mix yeast with water and leave for 10 mins. Sift flour, salt, sugar and baking powder into a bowl, stir in yoghurt and oil, then add yeast. Knead dough on a floured surface, put back into floured bowl and cover with a teatowel and leave in a warm place to rise (about 2 hours or until doubled in size).
put pizza stones in the oven and heat to 230-240°C. Cut dough into 6 triangles and roll to about 6 mm thick. Just before placing the dough onto pizza stones, wet fingertips with water and pat very lightly on the dough then place on baking paper on the stones. Bake until golden spots appear - about 10 minutes. Brush with butter/margarine or garlic butter/margarine and serve hot
