The Promise Wreath
The Promise Wreath
This wreath comes to you bearing a promise from God.
Each part of it shows some aspect of Him. "Be still, and know that I am God." Psalms 46:10
The wreath is round - a circle that has no beginning and no end, as God has no beginning and no end, but always is, was and will be The Great I Am. “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8
The wreath is evergreen, as is God's love for us. His love never changes. “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:38-39
The white edging reminds us of the sinless Jesus, the pure Lamb sent to be the sacrifice for us. “…John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1: 29. Only the most perfect Lamb could serve for this atonement.
The red berries signify Christ's blood, shed for us. “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” Matthew 26:28. The three clusters represent the Holy Trinity.
The bow reminds us of the gift of Grace - a gift freely given. We could never earn the redemption that Christ bought for us on Calvary. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. That the bow is gold is a reflection of the pure perfection of God's Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ and the priceless value of His love.
Merry Christmas!
Yours in Christ,
