There are a few ways to register with us:

Email
You will need to provide us with your name, NRIC, Address, email and mobile number
PAYMENT
Once you have submitted your application and chosen the type of your membership, please proceed and make a payment via bank transfer
email us the proof of payment / receipt to epilepsymalaysia@gmail.com

Please note that your registration will not be processed until payment has been made and that we have received your proof of payment / receipt.
Membership Fees
1. Ordinary members
RM 20 per annum
2. Life members
RM 100 (one off payment)

Why Be A Member ?
To improve knowledge on epilepsy including treatment availability, epilepsy first aids and management of epilepsy
To interact with others who are also living with epilepsy or caring for people with epilepsy and exchange ideas and experiences
Receive invitations to our special events including our Annual General Meeting, celebration of special events, and support groups
Join our members during epilepsy awareness programs organized by PEM and meet the experts in epilepsy from all over Malaysia. You will be given the chance to exchange ideas and discuss with the experts on matters relating to epilepsy.
What else?
You can be our advocates and our new voice representing many patients in Malaysia who are still afraid to come forward and seek treatment. You will be the strength that we need to break the stigma and taboos in the society surrounding the issues around epilepsy
We will also be organizing special events like family day, recreational activities, workshops, competitions with exciting rewards and other fun activities. Priorities will be given to members and some may be opened to members only
be part of IBE
PEM is part of International Bureau of Epilepsy (IBE), an International organization that provides support for local epilepsy societies around the word, in order to create a strong global network
IBE collaborate and communicate among all members across the globe to address issues pertaining challenges faced by various countries like Malaysia, including breaking the stigma and bridging the treatment gaps in epilepsy
Be selected as one of the few representatives that will represent Malaysia in the International Golden Light Award. This is a prestigious award from IBE to recognize the contributions of people affected by epilepsy in the community and those who care for them. Selected winners from different countries will be given travel bursaries to attend the ceremony, wherever it is held that year. This will be your opportunity to meet other people around the globe, who share similar challenges to you.
