What is All This? (1985) [Music and chant by Roger Fakhr]
What is all this?
What is all this?
It's a shame is what it is.
It's a shame is what it is.
Chanted repeatedly before the band is introduced.
This chant was a variation by legendary musician/singer songwriter, Roger Fakhr;
a variation on his own composition "Keep Going".
Munir borrowed it for band introductions, calling band members by titles
normally reserved for charismatic leaders of the Arab world, or martyrs of war.
This was in keeping with the principle of mocking empty slogans that
idolize a corrupt dictator, or glorify a brainwashed kid sent to the battlefield
to die for nothing.
