Dear Reader,
Welcome to Kerala Commentary.

What is this Kerala Commentary about?

Kerala Commentary welcomes anyone who has gone through, lived in, read about, thought about or heard about Kerala. God created Kerala beautiful, with hills, valleys, meadows, fields and forests, with rivers, rivulets and brooks running everywhere. Mountains and sea shore kisses each other. They are never too distant from each other anywhere. Climate, weather and water blessed Kerala and make it a real Beauty Spot. The land is clean and the people are amiable, friendly and traditionally hospitable. They have populated almost every nook and corner of this world, representing Kerala eminently in their delegative capacity.

But there are dark veins as well. Clouds, betrayal and greed co-exists now with sunshine and shower, loyalty and selfless sacrifice. Nothing will be and shall be spared here. Anyone can make comments and contribute frank and free, which would be highly valued and appreciated in Kerala Commentary. That is what true Malayaali spirit and hospitality is.

Where does the motive for our articles come from?

In news papers, magazines and books published in India and abroad, hundreds of articles come to be published each day about life in Kerala. They not only reveal the ultimate truth about Kerala life but in many instances contradict what the actual facts are. Certainly one cannot go through all of them, necessitating the need for one single venue accessible where somewhat a true version of things in Kerala can be read about. We hope in earnest this site will serve this purpose.

What is here in this site to read?

We hope to cover almost all subjects and fields a traveller to India wants to learn about life in Kerala. There are hundreds of Keralites working in almost all countries across the globe, and any traveller to India can find at least one among them in his close neighbourhood and ask things about how life in Kerala is. And these Keralites living abroad would also want to know how things are actually going in Kerala in their absence. We will take care to include articles here which would satisfy the eagerness of these two categories primarily. As we are asked to include more topics of interest to you, we will certainly do it.

Dear Reader, what you can do?

Please send us your valuable comments, suggestions, opinions and articles for
posting in this forum. Or you can directly post your comments at the end of each page which is welcomed.

Sincerely Yours,

P.S.Remesh Chandran,
Chief Editor, Kerala Commentary.
