Dear Fellow Retiree,
Happy New Year! Thanks to Jim Hughes for his outstanding leadership as President of the Club's Steering Council
last year. Jim is serving as Vice President in 2012.
The Club sponsored several successful events in the Fall:
l Today’s Financial Landscape Seminar, October 11. Attended by 50 retirees and well received.
l Annual Medical Benefits Seminars, November 9 and November 15.
A record number of 230 retirees participated in four Medical Benefits Seminars and we handled numerous e-mails and telephone calls. We also participated in conference calls with members of the Orlando Retiree Club and assisted other clubs as requested. All seminar materials have been posted on our website for ongoing reference.

l IBM Community Spring 2012 Golf Outing, Friday, May 4
For the 7th year, retirees and IBM volunteers will be mentors for students at the Tinker Elementary School on MacDill Air Force Base. Please call Mary Ann McCoy at 813-961-4739 if interested. To reduce postage and reproduction costs, we are working towards cutting back on our mailings but increasing use of e-mails. Please help us in ensuring that we have your current e-mail ID. You can update your e-mail ID and make other appropriate changes to the Club's retiree database using the website registration feature.
