We hope everyone is well as we begin 2016. Thanks to Jim Hughes for once again providing outstanding leadership as President of the Retiree Club Steering Council in 2015. Jim will serve as Vice President this year. Following are the other members of the Steering Council who volunteer to serve the Tampa Bay IBM retiree community:

In the Fall, we presented our annual Medical Benefits Seminars on November 16 and 20. All three seminars were well attended. Thank you for your generous feedback. We also posted seminar materials on our website. These materials are used by other IBM clubs in Florida and many IBM retirees from other parts of the country. We are fortunate to be able to help our retiree associates and their families.

If you are confused like I’m about the economy and the financial markets and would like get an independent perspective from an industry expert, you don’t want to miss this seminar. We are delighted that Eric Longphee has agreed to be the speaker. Last time he presented to our group, he received rave reviews.
Day at the Races – Saturday, April 9
This popular annual event will again be held at the Tampa Bay Downs.
