Auxesia is the fertile, temperate continent known for the first Hemeran colony and its vast fields and forests. While Messembria has more arable land due to its sheer size, Auxesia has a particularly suitable climate for agriculture, and a great deal of the world's food comes from there. They are also known as a stronghold of medical, biological, and genetic science. Auxesia has remained highly democratic and politically easygoing throughout the years, the conflicts between them and other nations few and far between. They have particularly good relations with the government of Messembria.

Auxesia was originally founded as a socialist or even communist colony, with communal property and assigned vocations. Money was not widely used in the beginning. Over time, as the colony became more established, individuals were able to branch out into personal endeavors. Settlers left the capital, Pherusa, and founded new towns elsewhere on the continent, which then began to trade with each other. Auxesia still retains a good deal of its socialist origins, however. They have a small army and will fight when necessary, but they are probably the least warlike of the nations, always remaining neutral except when forced to defend themselves.

The nation has a parliamentary political system, with a number of major parties, but the most powerful of these are the Social Democrats and the Democratic Socialism parties. Power usually oscillates between the two, sometimes tipping towards a third party for a time, but socialism is a favored system in Auxesia and opinions usually differ on how to implement it, rather than whether to do so. Currently the Social Democrats are in power, and have retained this balance for quite a few years. Auxesia's economic system is socialized capitalism, although the Democratic Socialists have been pushing for a fully socialist economic system for decades, if not centuries. The Prime Minister of Auxesia is currently Gianna Fiore, from the city of Jerun.
