Appearance

A young man looking to be in his early twenties or so, he stands at about 5'10 and has a thin frame, possibly bordering on lanky. Tanned skin speaks to his Andalusian heritage, though time in Elysia and beyond has lightened it some. Brown hair kept relatively short and eyes of the same color complete the physical elements. His clothing varies between two states, depending on if he is in civilian wear or in uniform. His civilian attire consists of a white button up shirt, dark slacks and shoes, and a blue jacket worn over his shirt.

His military attire lacks quite as much color, as to be expected. Shirt pants, gloves, and boots heavy on the blacks and grays. A belt looped around his waist with various pockets and pouches for carrying things. The shoulders display the ERRF patch, a black arrow superimposed on a setting sun. If they're deployed somewhere then his rifle is slung over his shoulder, a weapon with the purpose of mid to long range engagements.

One thing he wears over both outfits though is a silver chain with both a yellow topaz and blue sapphire hanging from it, the former shaped like a lightning bolt and the latter like a wave in the Andalusian animist fashion.

Background

While Mikel was born in Orai, his family came over to Elysia when he was 4, not long after his younger sister Teresa was born. They would set up in Theros, generally living a content life in the tourist hotspot city in a tourist hotspot nation. That is, until the Erebos incident. While Mikel and Teresa's parents were able to get their children out on one of the first evacuation transports, they weren't able to join their children and soon died as the dimensional storms ripped through the city. When the dust cleared they were on their own, wards of the state. When Mikel was 18 (And Teresa 15) he would sign up with the Elysian military, guaranteeing that there would be arrangements for the both of them and proper living conditions.

As Mikel ended up part of the Erebos Rapid Response Force, a division of Elysia's military dedicating to containing and destroying any Erebos Spawn sighted, Teresa would travel between Southport and Theros, assisting with reconstruction efforts and studying the effects that Erebos had on the surrounding area. Mikel would rise up in the ranks, ending up in the Black Arrow Squad, the most experienced and efficient Erebos Spawn killing group in the ERRF.

Naturally, when the call went out for recruits to join with the Makhai Initiative, Elysia turned their attention to their most experienced soldiers when it came to Erebos. A group were selected and sent on, including Mikel. He is the one that ended up being chosen from those sent, and so he ended up in the MAP and all of the joy that would bring...
