Story and setting docs finished

Hey all,

I am more or less DONE with the setting docs for now. I know there is a LOT, but hopefully that means I've managed to answer the important questions you had about the setting. If there's anything you still need to know, feel free to ask.

There isn't a lot of detail posted about the NPCs yet, or a few events in recent history, but that's because you will likely find out more in the course of the game. I expect a fairly large info-dump after the first session, when your characters can be properly briefed.

What we need now is your characters. The system is being worked on and should hopefully be ready to post soon, and I know several of you make the system a part of your character concepts, but you can still be thinking about background and story. I have gotten some good information from two of you already (thanks, Doom and Lucca!) that has helped me plan out some plot hooks and story ideas. I would love to start this game in MAY sometime, so please think about that and let me know if you feel you'll be ready by then!

I'm frequently on IRC these days so please drop by if you have any questions.

I intend to continue posting important announcements here or in the topic of #mecha-iog2 but I know that's not necessarily the best way to get information to everyone. Should I be sending out regular emails too? Please let me know what the most current email address is that I should be using for you.
