My name is D. I am fifteen years old. I live in Pavillons sous bois. I have got four sisters, one dog, thirty fish and five birds. My dog's name is Johnny. I didn’t find names for the fish and the birds. I like dolphins and horses.

Have you got any pets? I like London and America . I’ve got black hair and brown eyes. I like listening to music of courses. I like sports. My favourite sports are tennis, football, basket ball and badminton. I go to the swimming pool with my friends. I like to play an instrument very much. I play flute in school. I have played it for six years. I have lots of friends in school but I stay with Irenuga ,Christelle and Islande. They are my best friends. My favourite subject is maths and English. Every day I start school at eight and I finish at half past four. During the holidays I went to Switzerland. What did you do during the holidays? I would love to write, but I have to leave bye.

Washington, MO Webquest

You can find us on a map using Yahoo maps. We are about 50 miles +/- from St. Louis, Missouri, a fairly large city in the midwest of the USA. St. Louis is located on the Mississippi River. At the riverfront, you can visit a big museum found under the Gateway Arch. Eventually we would like to send you a picture of it.

You can do a search on Yahoo and find out a lot more about St. Louis. It is known for the Arch, its museums, shopping, Cardinals (professional baseball team), the Rams (professional "American" football team), the Blues (professional hockey team), its zoo, and large airport.

Washington is located on the Missouri River West of St. Louis. It has a German Catholic heritage, and remains fairly rural although many of the farms are being sold to build more homes. There has been a town here since the early 1800's.

The old buildings down by the river date back to the late 1800's for the most part. That is old for here. Mostly people live here and go to St. Louis to work.

There are local businesses, and schools : 6 elementary, 1 middle school (where we are) and one high school. There are also a large number of private catholic schools in our town.

We have a huge fair the first week of August that is a lot of fun. There are also many wineries in our area. Recently our high school American football team got to play in the state playoff game in the dome where the Rams play. It was very exciting for our town....we lost, so we got 2nd place.
