To Do's/4 Quadrants

Stephen Covey in 7 Habits of Effective People, created the "4 Quadrants" concept to help people track how they are processing things they like to do, don't need to do, need to do, must do right away. The 4 Quadrants helps us differentiate between 1.) what is important and urgent, 2.) what's important but not urgent, 3.) what feels somewhat urgent but really isn't important, and 4.) what's neither urgent nor important. We live our lives from all of these quadrants, and need to, although to maximize our effectiveness, we ideally live as much as possible from Quadrant 2, which is a planful, mindful place. Here is a spreadsheet that Mr. Chamberlain assembled and inserted into this website. Students can keep track of their assignments in this spreadsheet.
