Phrase and Clause Patterns 2012 Red

Here are some student examples from a unit we do each spring on Phrase and Clause Patterns. It's a "capstone" type project, rounding out a year of exploring these phrase and clause patterns. In getting these ready to be presented here, I sometimes made an edit or addition, and I supplied many of the definitions. Other than that, the work was done by the students -- they assembled the themes, photographs and sentences. I'm pleased that these slides are both engaging and instructive. Good writing is rich in elaboration and variety in phrasing. These are from Red English class.
