Seek The Praise and Honor of God More than of a Mortal Man or Woman

What STOPS Us from BELIEVING & OBEYING TRUTH? The Bible is very plain about this.

John 5:44 (KJV) which says, "How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?"

Or in other words, "How can you believe if you accept praise from one another, yet make no effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only God?"

#1 We need to accept Christ as our Peace. Oh, if ALL WOULD COME JUST AS THEY ARE, and let Him make the preparation in taking them as His...

Pray, “You know I cannot do this work in my own strength. You must work in me, and by me and through me, sanctifying my tongue, sanctifying my spirit, sanctifying my words, and bringing me into a position where my spirit shall be susceptible to the movings of the Holy Spirit of God upon my mind and character.”

Pray, “Lord, if I am to be a channel through which thy love is to flow day by day and hour by hour, I claim by faith the grace and power that thou hast promised." He fastens his hold firmly on the promise, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.”

Pray, "Let the latter rain come into my vessel. Let the light of the glorious angel which unites with the third angel shine upon me; give me a part in the work; let me sound the proclamation; let me be a colabourer with Jesus Christ." Thus seeking God, let me tell you, He is fitting you up all the time, giving you His grace.

"Pray that the mighty energies of the Holy Spirit, with all their quickening, recuperative, and transforming power, may fall like an electric shock on the palsy-stricken soul, causing every nerve to thrill with new life, restoring the whole man from his dead, earthly, sensual state to spiritual soundness. You will thus become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust; and in your souls will be reflected the image of Him by whose stripes you are healed."

Pray that we might be baptized into Christ's sufferings, that we might not shrink at trials, but bear them with patience and joy, knowing what Jesus had suffered that we through His poverty and sufferings might be made rich. Said the angel, "Deny self; ye must step fast".

Claim this promise: "Him That Cometh Unto Me, I Will In No Wise Cast Out." (John 6:37) PRESENT THIS ASSURANCE TO JESUS, AND YOU ARE AS SAFE AS THOUGH INSIDE THE CITY OF GOD" (Manuscript Releases, vol. 10, p. 175).

ALL WHO LONG TO BEAR THE LIKENESS OF THE CHARACTER OF GOD SHALL BE SATISFIED. THE "HOLY" SPIRIT NEVER LEAVES UNASSISTED THE SOUL WHO IS LOOKING UNTO JESUS. The Wisdom of GOD.
