Seventh Day Adventist Fundamental Beliefs 1980

"He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination" Proverbs 28:9."God will arouse His people; if other means fail, heresies will come in among them, which will sift them, spreading the chaff from the wheat."Gospel Workers, p. 299.“The SPURIOUS must be a close imitation of the genuine, else it would not be a COUNTERFEIT.” (Manuscript Releases Volume Fourteen, p. 191, by Ellen G. White; all-caps added for emphasis)“Our message is a life-and-death message, and we must let this message appear as it is, – the great power of God. Then the Lord will make it effectual. We are to present it in all its telling force.” RH May 22, 1900, par. 20."Do not by your criticisms take out all the force, all the point and power, from the Testimonies. Do not feel that you can dissect them to suit your own ideas, claiming that God has given you ability to discern what is light from heaven and what is the expression of mere human wisdom. If the Testimonies speak not according to the Word of God, reject them. Christ and Belial cannot be united." (5T 691)

"All will be tested and tried according to the light they have had. Those who turn from the truth to fables can look for no second probation. There will be no temporal millennium. If, after the Holy Spirit has brought conviction to their hearts, they resist the truth and use their influence to block the way so that others will not receive it, they will never be convinced. They did not seek for transformation of character in the probation given them, and Christ will not give them opportunity to pass over the ground again. The decision is a final one"--Letter 25, 1900.

"I WAS pointed down to the time when the third angel's message was closing. The power of God had rested upon His people; they had

accomplished their work and were prepared for the trying hour before them. They had received the latter rain, or refreshing from the presence of the Lord, and the living testimony had been revived. The last great warning had sounded everywhere, and it had stirred up and enraged the inhabitants of the earth who would not receive the message." Early Writings, p. 279.1."The whole of the gospel is embraced in the third angel's message, and in all our work the truth is to be presented as it is in Jesus.... Let nothing lessen the force of the truth for this time. The third angel's message must do its work of separating from the [501c3 SDA] churches a people who will take their stand on the platform of eternal truth. Our message is a life and death message, and we must let it appear as it is, the great power of God. We are to present it in all its telling force. Then the Lord will make it effectual"—Manuscript 19, 1900, 1, 4, 5. (“A Perfect Ministry. Its Purpose,” March 5 1900.) 1MR 57.3.

"There are some, who upon accepting erroneous theories, strive to establish them by collecting from my writings statements of truth, which they use, separated from their proper connection and perverted by association with error." Letter 136, April 27, 1906, to Brethren Butler, Daniels, and Irwin. (Ellen White, 1906, This Day with God, page 126).

"The work that might have been done, will be left undone by the rejecters of truth, because of their unbelief. We entreat of you who oppose the light of truth, to stand out of the way of God's people. Let Heaven-sent light shine forth upon them in clear and steady rays. God holds you to whom this light has come, responsible for the use you make of it. Those who will NOT hear will be held responsible; for the truth has been brought within their reach, but they despised their opportunities and privileges. Messages bearing the divine credentials have been sent to God's people; the glory, the majesty, the righteousness of Christ, full of goodness and truth, have been presented; the fullness of the Godhead in Jesus Christ has been set forth among us with beauty and loveliness, to charm all whose hearts were not closed with prejudice" The Review and Herald May 27, 1890 paragraph 6 (Ellen G. White), Last Day Events, p. 210.1 (Ellen G. White)."In order to sustain erroneous doctrines or unchristian practices, some will seize upon passages of Scripture separated from the context, perhaps quoting half of a single verse as proving their point, when the remaining portion would show the meaning to be quite the opposite. With the cunning of the serpent they entrench themselves behind disconnected utterances construed to suit their carnal desires. Thus do many willfully pervert the word of God. Others, who have an active imagination, seize upon the figures and symbols of Holy Writ, interpret them to suit their fancy, with little regard to the testimony of Scripture as its own interpreter, and then they present their vagaries as the teachings of the Bible.

Whenever the study of the Scriptures is entered upon without a prayerful, humble, teachable spirit, the plainest and simplest as well as the most difficult passages will be wrested from their true meaning. The papal leaders select such portions of Scripture as best serve their purpose, interpret to suit themselves, and then present these to the people, while they deny them the privilege of studying the Bible and understanding its sacred truths for themselves. The whole Bible should be given to the people just as it reads. It would be better for them not to have Bible instruction at all than to have the teaching of the Scriptures thus grossly misrepresented.

The Bible was designed to be a guide to all who wish to become acquainted with the will of their Maker. God gave to men the sure word of prophecy; angels and even Christ Himself came to make known to Daniel and John the things that must shortly come to pass. Those important matters that concern our salvation were not left involved in mystery. They were not revealed in such a way as to perplex and mislead the honest seeker after truth. Said the Lord by the prophet Habakkuk: "Write the vision, and make it plain, . . . that he may run that readeth it." Habakkuk 2:2. The word of God is plain to all who study it with a prayerful heart. Every truly honest soul will come to the light of truth. "Light is sown for the righteous." Psalm 97:11. And no church can advance in holiness unless its members are earnestly seeking for truth as for hid treasure. http://www.whiteestate.org/books/gc/gc32.html

"I pity those who have set their feet in the path of doubt and unbelief. I would gladly help them if I could, but the experience of the past gives me little hope that they will ever come to the light. No amount of evidence will convince men of the truth so long as they are unwilling to yield their pride, subdue their carnal nature, and become learners in the school of Christ" 1SM 72.4 (Ellen G. White).

Moses and Aaron were challenged by Korah and 250 leaders of Israel who rebelled against them (Num 16), rejecting their divine appointment. The rebels all perished, Korah, Dathan, and Abiram with their families when the earth opened up and swallowed them (Num 16:32), and the 250 when fire fell from heaven and consumed them (Num 16:35). The following day a multitude of the people still opposed Moses and Aaron, and accused them of killing the men of God (Num 16:41). The Lord sent a plague among the rebels, and 14,700 perished that day.

"These men who have been trusted to keep the fort have well-nigh betrayed it into the hands of the enemy. They have opened the gates to a wily foe, who has sought to destroy them. Men of experience have seen stealthy hands slipping the bolts that Satan might enter; yet they have held their peace with apparent indifference as to the results. …These persons do not realize that God holds them responsible for every advantage gained by the foe who is admitted to the fort. The desolation and ruin following lie at the door of the unfaithful sentinels, who, by their neglect, become agents in the hands of the adversary to win souls to destruction. Testimonies, vol. 4, pages 211-212

"In the days of Christ the leaders and teachers of Israel were powerless to resist the work of Satan. They were neglecting the only means by which they could have withstood evil spirits. It was by the word of God that Christ overcame the wicked one. The leaders of Israel professed to be the expositors of God’s word, but they had studied it only to sustain their traditions, and enforce their man-made observances. By their interpretation they made it express sentiments that God had never given. Their mystical construction made indistinct that which He had made plain. They disputed over insignificant technicalities, and practically denied the most essential truths. Thus infidelity was sown broadcast. God’s word was robbed of its power, and evil spirits worked their will. – {DA 257.3}

"History is repeating. With the open Bible before them, and professing to reverence its teachings, many of the religious leaders of our time are destroying faith in it as the word of God. They busy themselves with dissecting the word, and set their own opinions above its plainest statements. In their hands God’s word loses its regenerating power. This is why infidelity runs riot, and iniquity is rife. – {DA 258.1}

"What greater deception can come upon human minds than a confidence that they are right when they are all wrong! The message of the True Witness finds the people of God in a sad deception, yet honest in that deception. They know not that their condition is deplorable in the sight of God. While those addressed are flattering themselves that they are in an exalted spiritual condition, the message of the True Witness breaks their security by the startling denunciation of their true condition of spiritual blindness, poverty, and wretchedness. The testimony, so cutting and severe, cannot be a mistake, for it is the True Witness who speaks, and His testimony must be correct" Testimonies for the Church, vol. 3, p. 252.4 (Ellen G. White) .

Sv76 25.1

The end is approaching; he moves silently, silently and silently, like the thief in the night. Grant the Lord the grace not to sleep longer, as others do, but to be sober and watch. The truth is about to triumph gloriously and everyone who decides now to be collaborators with God will triumph with her. The time is short; the night is coming when no one can work. Msv76 25.2

Time comes when there will be so many people turned on a day like there were on the day of Pentecost, after the disciples received the Holy Spirit. Msv76 25.3

There are many who have not paid attention to the invitation of the gospel; they have been tested, but they have apparently been presented with monumental obstacles that have prevented their progress. Through Faith, perseverance and courage, many will overcome these difficulties and enter the glorious light. Msv76 25.4

Almost unconsciously, barriers have been erected on the narrow and narrow road; stumbling stones have been placed on the path; but all that will be removed. The safeguards that false shepherds have placed around their grey will become like nothing; thousands will enter the light and work to spread the light. Celestial intelligences will be combined with human instruments. Stimulated in this way, the church will rise and shine, and will apply all its energies to the conflict; in this way the design of God is fulfilled, and that is how the lost pearls recover... Msv76 25.5

During the strong cry, the church, aided by the provisions of its exalted Lord, will spread the knowledge of salvation so abundantly that the light will be communicated to every city and town. The Earth will be filled with the knowledge of salvation. So abundantly, the spirit of God will be successfully crowned with active agents, that the light of the present truth will shine everywhere. 27 msv76 25.6

Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p. 411.3 (Ellen G. White) .

"There are some who indulge in levity, sarcasm, and even mockery toward those who differ with them. Others present an array of objections to any new view; and when these objections are plainly answered by the words of Scripture, they do not acknowledge the evidence presented, nor allow themselves to be convinced. Their questioning is not for the purpose of arriving at truth, but was intended merely to confuse the minds of others" {GW92 128.1}.

"We should NEVER give sanction to sin by our words or our deeds, our silence or OUR PRESENCE" —{The Desire of Ages, p. 152}.

"MANY are going directly CONTRARY TO the LIGHT which God has given to His people, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT READ the books which contain the light and knowledge in cautions, reproofs, and warnings...” {4T 391.1}

"When men endanger the work and cause of [God] by their own wrong course of action, shall they hear no voice of reproof? If the wrongdoer only were concerned, and the work reached no farther than him, he alone should have the words and warning; but when his course of action is doing positive harm to the cause of truth, and souls are imperiled, [God] requires that the warning be as broad as the injury done" 2SM:153.

"Many claim that a position of trust in the church gives them authority to dictate what other men shall believe and what they shall do. This claim God does not sanction" The Desire of Ages, p. 414.3.

"To believe that evil must not be condemned because this would condemn those who practice the evil is to act in favor of falsehood" Ellen White, Ms 72, 1904 (July 25, 1904) par. 18.

"Most startling messages will be borne by men of God's appointment, messages of a character to WARN the people, to AROUSE them. And while some will be PROVOKED by the warning, and led to RESIST LIGHT AND EVIDENCE, we are to see from this that we ARE giving the TESTING MESSAGE FOR THIS TIME. Messages will be given OUT OF THE USUAL ORDER." Testimonies,Vol. 9, p. 136.

"The testing message for this time is to be borne so plainly and decidedly as to startle the hearers, and lead them to desire to study the Scriptures."—Testimonies For The Church 9:109 (1909).

"I saw that our message was not to the shepherds who have led the flock astray, but to the poor hungry, scattered sheep" Ellen White, PT March 1, 1850, par. 3.

"The same trials have been experienced by men of God in ages past. Wycliffe, Huss, Luther, Tyndale, Baxter, Wesley, urged that all doctrines be brought to the test of the Bible and declared that they would renounce everything which it condemned. Against these men persecution raged with relentless fury; yet they ceased not to declare the truth. Different periods in the history of the church have each been marked by the development of some special truth, adapted to the necessities of God's people at that time. Every new truth has made its way against hatred and opposition; those who were blessed with its light were tempted and tried. The Lord gives a special truth for the people in an emergency. Who dare refuse to publish it? He commands His servants to present the last invitation of mercy to the world. They cannot remain silent, except at the peril of their souls. Christ's ambassadors have nothing to do with consequences. They must perform their duty and leave results with God" 1888 GC 609.1.

"Does anyone suppose that the messages of warning will not come to those whom God reproves? The ones reproved may rise up in indignation and seek to bring the law to bear upon God's messenger, but in doing this, they are not bringing the law upon the messenger, but upon Christ, who gave the reproof and the warning. When men endanger the work and cause of God by their own wrong course of action, shall they hear no voice of reproof? If the wrongdoer only were concerned, and the work reached no farther than him, he alone should have the words of warning; but when his course of action is doing positive harm to the cause of truth, and souls are imperiled, God requires that the warning be as broad as the injury done. The testimonies will not be hindered. The words of rebuke and warning, the plain “Thus saith the Lord,” will come from God's appointed agencies; for the words do not originate with the human instrument; they are from God, who appointed them their work. If a suit is instituted in earthly tribunals, and God suffers it to come to trial, it is that His own name may be glorified. But a woe will be upon the man who gives himself to do this work. God reads the motives, whatever they may be. I pray that the Lord will teach our brethren to be straightforward, and make no compromise in the matter. The cause of God has been bruised and wounded by any such men connecting with it, and the sooner they are separated from it, the better.... 2SM 152.4

"After a long and severe conflict, the faithful few decided to dissolve all union with the apostate church if she still refused to free herself from falsehood and idolatry. They saw that separation was an absolute necessity if they would obey the word of God. They dared not tolerate errors fatal to their own souls, and set an example which would imperil the faith of their children and children's children. To secure peace and unity they were ready to make any concession consistent with fidelity to God; but they felt that even peace would be too dearly purchased at the sacrifice of principle. If unity could be secured only by the compromise of truth and righteousness, then let there be difference, and even war." The Great Controversy, p. 45.

Have you drunk from the well of the early Protestant SDA pioneers books, articles, sermons and tracts and carried the water of life to your now Catholic 501c3 SDA brethren who have been asleep, not studying for themselves the old PROTESTANT SDA landmarks, the old SDA beliefs? The majority of SDA's today do not realize how the Jesuit SDA leaders today (2017) have rejected the OLD SDA Protestant doctrines in exchange for Catholic doctrines...Are you your brothers keeper? Have you been diligent in studying the early Protestant SDA pioneers books, articles, sermons and tracts like Sister Ellen White warned us to do???

My brethren, the value of the evidences of truth that we have received during the past half century [1840-1906], is above

estimate. These evidences are as TREASURE HIDDEN IN A FIELD. Search for them. Study the Bible truths that for fifty years have been calling us out from the world. Present this evidence in clear, plain lines. Those who have been long in the truth and those who have recently received the truth must now dig for the buried heavenly treasure. Let every man work to the point. Study the word of God. Revive the evidences given in the past. “Search the Scriptures,” Christ said; “for in them ye think ye have eternal life, and they are they which testify of Me.” The Review and Herald April 19, 1906 paragraph 13; Manuscript Releases, vol. 1 [Nos. 19-96], p. 39.2 (Ellen G. White).

WARNING NOTICE: Under the "watch" of the World President of the 501c3 SDA denomination NEAL C. WILSON "OFFICIALLY" changed the Gods SDA'S worshiped at the 1980 General Conference Session, after which World SDA President could honestly state that the 501c3 SDA movement was no longer a "protestant" movement, but now it's members ARE "TRULY CATHOLIC" because of the official adoption of the Trinity doctrine into the fundamental statement of beliefs in 1980! The denomination had been retreating to Egypt since 1845 when it became "Laodicean - sayers not doers of pure truth" from it's original "Philadelphian", "pure truth practicing" condition. RETURN to the beliefs of the original SDA Pioneers, the "old time Adventist" doctrines as taught in 1840-1846 and as late as 1872 and 1889 - It IS like Noah's ARK of Safety for those who want to be in Heaven. Today the church leaders are the exact same as the Jewish leaders in Jesus time. The deception today in the church is the same as or correlates today with - the things that went on at the crucifixion - where the Jews said that Jesus did not really die, that he had just fainted - correlates to the lies being told by SDA church leaders today, it's just a stronger model today - it is just as deceiving today as it was for the Jews back then. Satan has had 6000 years to perfect his art and this is Satan's last opportunity to make himself as God in the minds of the people and this is what he wanted from the very beginning. He was not brought into the councils and he is mad and wants to take as many with him as possible. Froom was the biggest influence to bring in the Trinity doctrine. To smuggle in in under the sleepy noses of the 10 virgins... All 10 jump to their feet when they see the glad and happy procession of the BRIDE AND GROOM going by - but only 5 have the oil - or Spirit of Christ needed to overcome and to GO OUT AND JOIN THE BRIDAL PROCESSION GOING BY on it's way into the Banquet Feast, the feast of feeding on the SDA PIONEERS DOCTRINES and teachings that you can find here.

Adventism: Two Groups Are Being Developed. One Wise Very Small Protestant Group and One Large Foolish Laodicean Catholic Group. The Wise Protestant Group Adheres Strictly to the 1840-1884 Protestant SDA Early Pioneer Doctrines and the New Hierarchical Pyramid Structure Foolish Laodicean Catholic System of Adopting/Smuggling/Exchanging Protestant Doctrines for Catholic Doctrines/Ideas/Same Mind as the Beast:

1981: 34 years ago, SDA World President Neal C. Wilson honestly and boldly declared, "...There is another universal AND truly catholic organization, the Seventh-day Adventist Church" Review, March 5, 1981, page 3.

The "reason" Neal C. Wilson could "honestly" make the amazing declaration above is because of the official adoption of the Trinity into the formerly Protestant SDA organization at the 1980 General Conference Session. Now in 2015, Neal C. Wilson's son, Ted N. C. Wilson, adopts changes to Fundamental Belief #18 which effectively makes of no effect the writings of Sister Ellen G. White. Ellen White predicted:

“I know your danger. If you lose confidence in the testimonies [of the early Protestant SDA pioneers] you will drift away from Bible truth" White, Ellen. Testimonies for the Church, Volume 5, (1882-1889), page 98.

"Satan is ... constantly pressing in the spurious—to lead away from the truth. The very last deception of Satan will be to make of none effect the testimony of the Spirit of God. “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18). Satan will work ingeniously, in different ways and through different agencies, to unsettle the confidence of God's remnant people in the true testimony.—Letter 12, 1890. 1SM 48.3

There will be a hatred kindled against the testimonies which is satanic. The workings of Satan will be to unsettle the faith of the churches in them, for this reason: Satan cannot have so clear a track to bring in his deceptions and bind up souls in his delusions if the warnings and reproofs and counsels of the Spirit of God are heeded.—Letter 40, 1890. 1SM 48.4

Up until her death, Ellen White was known to be the “Lord’s Messenger,” but now in 2015, the denomination has voted that she is not the “Lord’s Messenger.” At the 2015 General Conference session, the delegates voted that Ellen White’s writings cannot “define our [Seventh-day Adventists] faith and practice".

“One thing is certain: Those Seventh-day Adventists who take their stand under Satan’s banner will first give up their faith in the warnings and reproofs contained in the Testimonies of God’s Spirit” 3SM84, Jesus is now saying to us “turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?” Lt 156, 1903 (July 27, 1903) par. 4, (Ellen G. White).

The Last Deception of Satan Has Been Fulfilled in the 2015 General Conference Session Headed by Ted N. C. Wilson By Setting Aside the Protestant Writings of the Messenger of the Lord giving in the beginning of the Advent Movement. Learn more here.

Ellen White predicted "Our religion would be changed" Selected Messages Book 1, p. 204.2.

In the very first vision of Ellen white she recounts: "I turned to look for the advent people in the world, but could not find them, when a voice said to me, “Look again, and look a little higher.” [those who have not rejected the early SDA pioneers doctrine 1840-1894 to go by faith into the Most Holy Place in the Heavenly Sanctuary in the Third Heaven] At this I raised my eyes, and saw a straight and narrow path, cast up high above the world. On this path the advent people were traveling to the city which was at the farther end of the path. Behind them, at the beginning of the path [1840-1894 historical SDA pioneers writings like Stephen Haskell, J. N. Andrews, James Springer White, Otis Nichols, Joseph Bates, Hiram Edson, Ellen G. White and others listed here], was a bright light which an angel told me was the midnight cry. This light shone all along the path, and gave light for their feet, that they might not stumble. Jesus Himself went just before His people, leading them to the city; and as long as they kept their eyes fixed on Him, they were safe. But soon some grew weary, and said the city was a great way off, and they expected to have entered it before. Then Jesus would encourage them by raising His glorious right arm, from which came a light that waved over the advent band; and they shouted “Alleluia!” Others [Neal C. Wilson, Le Roy Froom, Ted N. C. Wilson, Clifford Goldstein and many others ] rashly denied the light behind them, and said it was not God that had led them out so far [rejects the Protestant SDA pioneers writings 1840-1894]. The light behind them went out, leaving their feet in perfect darkness; and they stumbled, and lost sight of the mark and of Jesus, and fell off the path, down into the dark and wicked world below" Early Writings, p. 14.1 (Ellen G. White).

"It is a solemn statement that I make to the church, that not one in twenty whose names are registered upon the church books are prepared to close their earthly history, and would be as verily without God and without hope in the world as the common sinner"--Last Day Events, p. 172.1 (Ellen G. White), (1893). THIS WAS BACK IN 1893!

Neal C. Wilson was able to say Protestant "Adventists" are "TRULY this because of the "official" adoption of the Trinity of gods into the formerly PROTESTANT, NOW "TRULY CATHOLIC" Seventh Day Adventist Fundamental Statement of Beliefs at the 1980 General Conference Session in 1980, 36 years ago (in 2017 today)!!! This is totally changed 100% from the Protestant 1872 and 1889 Fundamental Statement of Beliefs! Just as Ellen White predicted would happen! Remember she "trembled" for our people because she knew the subtle change in our religion that WOULD occur!

"The foundation of our faith, which was established by so much prayer, such earnest searching of the Scriptures, was being taken down, pillar by pillar. Our faith was to have nothing to rest upon--the sanctuary was gone, the atonement was gone" E.G. White, The Upward Look, 152.

Majority of Adventists today will reject this warning: The foolish Adventist builds his house upon the SAND the doctrines of the 501c3 SDA church today [https://sites.google.com/site/howtoperformmiracles/1980] and rejects the firm foundation that was laid in the beginning of Adventism: 1830-1894 by the early SDA protestant pioneers. Pioneers like https://sites.google.com/site/howtoperformmiracles/sabbath/pioneers

Many who hear the message--by far the greatest number [501c3 SDA members today]--will not credit the solemn warning. Many will be found disloyal to the commandments of God, which are a test of character. The Lord's servants will be called enthusiasts. Ministers will warn the people not to listen to them. Noah received the same treatment while the Spirit of God was urging him to give the message, whether men would hear or whether they would forbear.--TM 233 (1895).

Some will listen to these warnings, but by the vast majority [501c3 SDA members] they will be disregarded.--HP 343 (1897).

The popular ministry [501c3 SDA preachers/teachers = Isaiah 9:16 "For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led by them are destroyed."], like the Pharisees of old, filled with anger as their authority is questioned, will denounce the message as of Satan, and stir up the sin-loving multitudes to revile and persecute those who proclaim it.--GC 607 (1911).

“The third angel's message (Rev. 14:9-12) was, and still is, a WARNING to the saints [TODAY = 2017!] to "hold fast," and not go back, and "receive" the marks (of the Papal beast=TRINITY, SUNDAY WORSHIP, Eucharist, Sprinkling) which the virgin band got rid of, during the second angel's [1843-1844] cry” —A Word to the "Little Flock" JAMES WHITE, Topsham, Maine April 21, 1847.https://sites.google.com/site/theendtimewarning/501c3

"The history of the early experiences in the message will be a power to withstand the masterly ingenuity of Satan’s deceptions" Ellen White, Lt 99, 1905 (April 6, 1905) par. 7.

“Those who seek to remove the old landmarks [1840-1894 early pioneer writings like Stephen Haskell, J. N. Andrews, James White and others listed here] (changing to the Trinity doctrine from the early SDA pioneers non-trinity stance) are NOT holding fast; they are not remembering how they have received and heard. Those [Neal C. Wilson, Le Roy Froom, Ted N. C. Wilson, Clifford Goldstein, Doug Batchelor and others] who try to bring in theories that would remove the pillars of our faith concerning the sanctuary or concerning the personality of God or of Christ [Trinity doctrine], are working as BLIND MEN. They are seeking to bring in uncertainties and to set the people of God adrift without an anchor” MR769.5.

“Rome never changes. She claims infallibility. It is Protestantism that will change” (Ellen G. White, Review and Herald, June 1, 1886).

"The very last deception of Satan will be to make of none effect the testimony of the Spirit of God. 'Where there is no vision, the people perish' (Prov. 29:18)." Selected Messages Book 2, p. 78.2

"Those religious bodies who refuse to hear God's messages of warning [to return to the old Adventist landmarks, the old pillars, the old Adventist beliefs and doctrines] will be under strong deception and will unite with the civil power to persecute the saints" Last Day Events, p. 145.2.

"The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new (501c3=non-profit/tax-exempt, blasphemous Eucharist accepting) organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy (metaphorical / hypothetical / symbol / figure of speech / pretend) would be introduced" –{Selected Messages Book 1, p. 204.2}.

In fact, in 1867 - 148 years ago - Ellen White predicted/foresaw the SDA church becoming Catholic! "The company now presented the appearance of a Catholic procession" Testimonies for the Church, vol. 1, p. 577.2 (Ellen G. White), January 29, 1867.

"There are men among us in responsible positions who hold that the opinions of a few conceited philosophers, so called, are more to be trusted than the truth of the Bible, or the testimonies of the Holy Spirit. Such a faith as that of PAUL, PETER, OR JOHN is considered old-fashioned and INSUFFERABLE at the present day. It is pronounced absurd, mystical, and unworthy of an intelligent mind" {5T 79.2}.

"Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins" Isaiah 58:1.

“The history of the early experiences (historical SDA doctrines 1841-1846) in the message will be a power to withstand the masterly ingenuity of Satan's deceptions.” EGW, Letter 99, 1905.

The "truths given in 1841, '42, '43 and 1844" (15MR Ltr 75 1905) are the THREE ANGEL'S ANTI-CATHOLIC DOCTRINE MESSAGES FOUND IN REVELATION 14:6-12!

Messages will be given OUT OF THE USUAL ORDER" Testimonies,Vol. 9, p. 136.

Changed from Protestant to Catholic Seventh Day Adventist Fundamental Beliefs 1980:

Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs, as set forth here, constitute the church’s understanding and expression of the teaching of Scripture. Revision of these statements may be expected at a General Conference session when the church is led by the Holy Spirit to a fuller understanding of Bible truth or finds better language in which to express the teachings of God’s Holy Word.

1. The Holy Scriptures:

The Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, are the written Word of God, given by divine inspiration through holy men of God who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. In this Word, God has committed to man the knowledge necessary for salvation. The Holy Scriptures are the infallible revelation of His will. They are the standard of character, the test of experience, the authoritative revealer of doctrines, and the trustworthy record of God’s acts in history. (2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Ps. 119:105; Prov. 30:5, 6; Isa. 8:20; John 17:17; 1 Thess. 2:13; Heb. 4:12.)

2. The Trinity:

There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons. God is immortal, all-powerful, all-knowing, above all, and ever present. He is infinite and beyond human comprehension, yet known through His self-revelation. He is forever worthy of worship, adoration, and service by the whole creation. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 4:4-6; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 Tim. 1:17; Rev. 14:7.)

What Did the Protestant SDA Pioneers Say?

From the 1872 Statement of Beliefs

The Godhead

“I. That there is one God, a personal, spiritual Being, the Creator of all things, omnipotent, omniscient, and eternal, infinite in wisdom, holiness, justice, goodness, truth, and mercy; unchangeable, and everywhere present by His representative, the Holy Spirit. Psalm 139:7

“II. That there is one Lord Jesus Christ, and Son of the Eternal Father, the One by whom God created all things, and by whom they do consist; that He took on Him the nature of the seed of Abraham for the redemption of our fallen race; that He dwelt among men, full of grace and truth, lived our example, died our sacrifice, was raised for our justification, ascended on high to be our only Mediator in the sanctuary in heaven, where, with His own blood, He makes atonement for our sins; which atonement, so far from being made on the cross, which was but the offering of the sacrifice, is the very last portion of His work as priest, according to the example of the Levitical priesthood, which foreshadowed and prefigured the ministry of our Lord in heaven. See Leviticus 16; Hebrews 8:4,5; 9:6,7; &c.” (A DECLARATION OF THE FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES TAUGHT AND PRACTICED — BY—THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS, published in 1872 in Battle Creek, Michigan)

Here is what our early SDA pioneers believed about God and other serious issues in a timeline format:

16 YEARS after Ellen White died the God we worshiped was smuggled in (Jude 4) and CHANGED in 1931 in the WORDING of Fundamental Beliefs in 1931, changing the 1872 and 1889 Fundamenal Beliefs, unbeknownst to most Adventists. Early pioneers still alive that KNEW what was happening were appalled, and many strongly objected to the blatent apostasy from the Three Angel's Messages as taught by the early SDA pioneers, now dead in 1931. Here is a link to the CHANGED RELIGION, the changing of the main foundational doctrine, what God SDA's worshiped, most SDA members worship this changed God doctrine unknowingly: CHANGED:

“The founders of Seventh-day Adventism would not be able to join the church today if they had to subscribe to the denomination’s Fundamental Beliefs. More specifically, most would not be able to agree to belief number 2, which deals with the doctrine of the Trinity.…” (Famous author and retired Andrews University seminary professor, George Knight, Ministry Magazine, October, 1993, page 10)

The Loud Cry and Latter Rain message is to REPEAT the articles and books, the teachings of the OLD SDA PIONEERS which is the THREE ANGEL'S MESSAGES found in Revelation 14:6-12. "Others [Neal C. White).

In 1905 Ellen White warns: “Let the aged men who were pioneers in our work speak plainly, and let those who are dead speak also, by the reprinting of their articles in our periodicals”—Ellen White, Manuscript 62, 1905, cited in “The Integrity of the Sanctuary Message.”

In 1905 Ellen White warns: “We are to REPEAT THE WORDS of the pioneers in our work,

In 1905 Ellen White warns: “We are to REPEAT THE WORDS of the pioneers in our work, who knew what it cost to search for the truth as for hidden treasure, and who labored to lay the foundation of our work. The word given me is, Let that which these men have written in the past be reproduced”—Ellen White, Review and Herald, May 25, 1905.

It is imperative (of vital importance; crucial to obtain eternal life and to become one of the 144,000) to study the pioneers platform of eternal truth that was setup in the beginning of Adventism. The modern 501c3 church has rejected the early SDA pioneer doctrines, which means apostasy from the truth. Come out of the modern SDA church and back into the doctrines and teachings of the early SDA Adventists today before it's too late. Don't be a foolish virgin that wakes up on the wrong side of the door knocking to get into the banquet hall!

The pioneers were NOT Arians! Arian definition: Arian: The Son is not of the same substance as the Father but was created as an agent for creating the world. Webster's Dictionary. The Son of God IS made from the same substance as the Father - Just as your son is made from your substance. Like Father, Like Son!

“Are we hoping to see the whole church revived? THAT TIME WILL NEVER COME.” Selected Messages Vol. 1 p. 122.

"It is IMPOSSIBLE for you to unite with those who are corrupt, and still remain pure. (II Corinthians 6:14-15 quoted). God and Christ and the heavenly host would have men know that if he unites with the corrupt he will become corrupt." S.D.A. Bible Commentary Vol. 6, p. 1102.8, In Heavenly Places, p. 169.3.

THAT TIME WILL NEVER COME.” Selected Messages Vol. 1 p. 122; "In the balances of the sanctuary the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to be weighed. She will be judged by the privileges and advantages [great light setup at the beginning of Adventism = Old SDA pioneer doctrines, the platform of eternal truth] that she has had. If her spiritual experience does not correspond to the advantages that Christ, at infinite cost, has bestowed on her, if the blessings conferred have not qualified her to do the work entrusted to her, on her will be pronounced the sentence: "Found wanting." By the light bestowed, the opportunities given, will she be judged" —LDE 59.3):

3. The Father:

God the eternal Father is the Creator, Source, Sustainer, and Sovereign of all creation. He is just and holy, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. The qualities and powers exhibited in the Son and the Holy Spirit are also revelations of the Father. (Gen. 1:1; Rev. 4:11; 1 Cor. 15:28; John 3:16; 1 John 4:8; 1 Tim. 1:17; Ex. 34:6, 7; John 14:9.)

4. The Son:

God the eternal Son became incarnate in Jesus Christ. Through Him all things were created, the character of God is revealed, the salvation of humanity is accomplished, and the world is judged. Forever truly God, He became also truly man, Jesus the Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived and experienced temptation as a human being, but perfectly exemplified the righteousness and love of God. By His miracles He manifested God’s power and was attested as God’s promised Messiah. He suffered and died voluntarily on the cross for our sins and in our place, was raised from the dead, and ascended to minister in the heavenly sanctuary in our behalf. He will come again in glory for the final deliverance of His people and the restoration of all things. (John 1:1-3, 14; Col. 1:15-19; John 10:30; 14:9; Rom. 6:23; 2 Cor. 5:17-19; John 5:22; Luke 1:35; Phil. 2:5-11; Heb. 2:9-18; 1 Cor. 15:3, 4; Heb. 8:1, 2; John 14:1-3.)

5. The Holy Spirit:

God the eternal Spirit was active with the Father and the Son in Creation, incarnation, and redemption. He inspired the writers of Scripture. He filled Christ’s life with power. He draws and convicts human beings; and those who respond He renews and transforms into the image of God. Sent by the Father and the Son to be always with His children, He extends spiritual gifts to the church, empowers it to bear witness to Christ, and in harmony with the Scriptures leads it into all truth. (Gen. 1:1, 2; Luke 1:35; 4:18; Acts 10:38; 2 Peter 1:21; 2 Cor. 3:18; Eph. 4:11, 12; Acts 1:8; John 14:16-18, 26; 15:26, 27; 16:7-13.)

6. Creation:

God is Creator of all things, and has revealed in Scripture the authentic account of His creative activity. In six days the Lord made "the heaven and the earth" and all living things upon the earth, and rested on the seventh day of that first week. Thus He established the Sabbath as a perpetual memorial of His completed creative work. The first man and woman were made in the image of God as the crowning work of Creation, given dominion over the world, and charged with responsibility to care for it. When the world was finished it was ``very good,’’ declaring the glory of God. (Gen. 1; 2; Ex. 20:8-11; Ps. 19:1-6; 33:6, 9; 104; Heb. 11:3.)

7. The Nature of Man:

Man and woman were made in the image of God with individuality, the power and freedom to think and to do. Though created free beings, each is an indivisible unity of body, mind, and spirit, dependent upon God for life and breath and all else. When our first parents disobeyed God, they denied their dependence upon Him and fell from their high position under God. The image of God in them was marred and they became subject to death. Their descendants share this fallen nature and its consequences. They are born with weaknesses and tendencies to evil. But God in Christ reconciled the world to Himself and by His Spirit restores in penitent mortals the image of their Maker. Created for the glory of God, they are called to love Him and one another, and to care for their environment. (Gen. 1:26-28; 2:7; Ps. 8:4-8; Acts 17:24-28; Gen. 3; Ps. 51:5; Rom. 5:12-17; 2 Cor. 5:19, 20; Ps. 51:10; 1 John 4:7, 8, 11, 20; Gen. 2:15.)

8. The Great Controversy:

All humanity is now involved in a great controversy between Christ and Satan regarding the character of God, His law, and His sovereignty over the universe. This conflict originated in heaven when a created being, endowed with freedom of choice, in self-exaltation became Satan, God’s adversary, and led into rebellion a portion of the angels. He introduced the spirit of rebellion into this world when he led Adam and Eve into sin. This human sin resulted in the distortion of the image of God in humanity, the disordering of the created world, and its eventual devastation at the time of the worldwide flood. Observed by the whole creation, this world became the arena of the universal conflict, out of which the God of love will ultimately be vindicated. To assist His people in this controversy, Christ sends the Holy Spirit and the loyal angels to guide, protect, and sustain them in the way of salvation. (Rev. 12:4-9; Isa. 14:12-14; Eze. 28:12-18; Gen. 3; Rom. 1:19-32; 5:12-21; 8:19-22; Gen. 6-8; 2 Peter 3:6; 1 Cor. 4:9; Heb. 1:14.)

9. The Life, Death, and Resurrection of Christ:

In Christ’s life of perfect obedience to God’s will, His suffering, death, and resurrection, God provided the only means of atonement for human sin, so that those who by faith accept this atonement may have eternal life, and the whole creation may better understand the infinite and holy love of the Creator. This perfect atonement vindicates the righteousness of God’s law and the graciousness of His character; for it both condemns our sin and provides for our forgiveness. The death of Christ is substitutionary and expiatory, reconciling and transforming. The resurrection of Christ proclaims God’s triumph over the forces of evil, and for those who accept the atonement assures their final victory over sin and death. It declares the Lordship of Jesus Christ, before whom every knee in heaven and on earth will bow. (John 3:16; Isa. 53; 1 Peter 2:21, 22; 1 Cor. 15:3, 4, 20-22; 2 Cor. 5:14, 15, 19-21; Rom. 1:4; 3:25; 4:25; 8:3, 4; 1 John 2:2; 4:10; Col. 2:15; Phil. 2:6-11.)

10. The Experience of Salvation:

In infinite love and mercy God made Christ, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, so that in Him we might be made the righteousness of God. Led by the Holy Spirit we sense our need, acknowledge our sinfulness, repent of our transgressions, and exercise faith in Jesus as Lord and Christ, as Substitute and Example. This faith which receives salvation comes through the divine power of the Word and is the gift of God’s grace. Through Christ we are justified, adopted as God’s sons and daughters, and delivered from the lordship of sin. Through the Spirit we are born again and sanctified; the Spirit renews our minds, writes God’s law of love in our hearts, and we are given the power to live a holy life. Abiding in Him we become partakers of the divine nature and have the assurance of salvation now and in the judgment. (2 Cor. 5:17-21; John 3:16; Gal. 1:4; 4:4-7; Titus 3:3-7; John 16:8; Gal. 3:13, 14; 1 Peter 2:21, 22; Rom. 10:17; Luke 17:5; Mark 9:23, 24; Eph. 2:5-10; Rom. 3:21-26; Col. 1:13, 14; Rom. 8:14-17; Gal. 3:26; John 3:3-8; 1 Peter 1:23; Rom. 12:2; Heb. 8:7-12; Eze. 36:25-27; 2 Peter 1:3, 4; Rom. 8:1-4; 5:6-10.)

11. The Church:

The church is the community of believers who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. In continuity with the people of God in Old Testament times, we are called out from the world; and we join together for worship, for fellowship, for instruction in the Word, for the celebration of the Lord’s Supper, for service to all mankind, and for the worldwide proclamation of the gospel. The church derives its authority from Christ, who is the incarnate Word, and from the Scriptures, which are the written Word. The church is God’s family; adopted by Him as children, its members live on the basis of the new covenant. The church is the body of Christ, a community of faith of which Christ Himself is the Head. The church is the bride for whom Christ died that He might sanctify and cleanse her. At His return in triumph, He will present her to Himself a glorious church, the faithful of all the ages, the purchase of His blood, not having spot or wrinkle, but holy and without blemish. (Gen. 12:3; Acts 7:38; Eph. 4:11-15; 3:8-11; Matt. 28:19, 20; 16:13-20; 18:18; Eph. 2:19-22; 1:22, 23; 5:23-27; Col. 1:17, 18.)

12. The Remnant and Its Mission:

The universal church is composed of all who truly believe in Christ, but in the last days, a time of widespread apostasy, a remnant has been called out to keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. This remnant announces the arrival of the judgment hour, proclaims salvation through Christ, and heralds the approach of His second advent. This proclamation is symbolized by the three angels of Revelation 14; it coincides with the work of judgment in heaven and results in a work of repentance and reform on earth. Every believer is called to have a personal part in this worldwide witness. (Rev. 12:17; 14:6-12; 18:1-4; 2 Cor. 5:10; Jude 3, 14; 1 Peter 1:16-19; 2 Peter 3:10-14; Rev. 21:1-14.)

13. Unity in the Body of Christ:

The church is one body with many members, called from every nation, kindred, tongue, and people. In Christ we are a new creation; distinctions of race, culture, learning, and nationality, and differences between high and low, rich and poor, male and female, must not be divisive among us. We are all equal in Christ, who by one Spirit has bonded us into one fellowship with Him and with one another; we are to serve and be served without partiality or reservation. Through the revelation of Jesus Christ in the Scriptures we share the same faith and hope, and reach out in one witness to all. This unity has its source in the oneness of the triune God, who has adopted us as His children. (Rom. 12:4, 5; 1 Cor. 12:12-14; Matt. 28:19, 20; Ps. 133:1; 2 Cor. 5:16, 17; Acts 17:26, 27; Gal. 3:27, 29; Col. 3:10-15; Eph. 4:14-16; 4:1-6; John 17:20-23.)

14. Baptism:

By baptism we confess our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and testify of our death to sin and of our purpose to walk in newness of life. Thus we acknowledge Christ as Lord and Saviour, become His people, and are received as members by His church. Baptism is a symbol of our union with Christ, the forgiveness of our sins, and our reception of the Holy Spirit. It is by immersion in water and is contingent on an affirmation of faith in Jesus and evidence of repentance of sin. It follows instruction in the Holy Scriptures and acceptance of their teachings. (Rom. 6:1-6; Col. 2:12, 13; Acts 16:30-33; 22:16; 2:38; Matt. 28:19, 20.)

15. The Lord’s Supper:

The Lord’s Supper is a participation in the emblems of the body and blood of Jesus as an expression of faith in Him, our Lord and Saviour. In this experience of communion Christ is present to meet and strengthen His people. As we partake, we joyfully proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes again. Preparation for the Supper includes self-examination, repentance, and confession. The Master ordained the service of foot washing to signify renewed cleansing, to express a willingness to serve one another in Christlike humility, and to unite our hearts in love. The communion service is open to all believing Christians. (1 Cor. 10:16, 17; 11:23-30; Matt. 26:17-30; Rev. 3:20; John 6:48-63; 13:1-17.)

16. Spiritual Gifts and Ministries:

God bestows upon all members of His church in every age spiritual gifts which each member is to employ in loving ministry for the common good of the church and of humanity. Given by the agency of the Holy Spirit, who apportions to each member as He wills, the gifts provide all abilities and ministries needed by the church to fulfill its divinely ordained functions. According to the Scriptures, these gifts include such ministries as faith, healing, prophecy, proclamation, teaching, administration, reconciliation, compassion, and self-sacrificing service and charity for the help and encouragement of people. Some members are called of God and endowed by the Spirit for functions recognized by the church in pastoral, evangelistic, apostolic, and teaching ministries particularly needed to equip the members for service, to build up the church to spiritual maturity, and to foster unity of the faith and knowledge of God. When members employ these spiritual gifts as faithful stewards of God’s varied grace, the church is protected from the destructive influence of false doctrine, grows with a growth that is from God, and is built up in faith and love. (Rom. 12:4-8; 1 Cor. 12:9-11, 27, 28; Eph. 4:8, 11-16; Acts 6:1-7; 1 Tim. 3:1-13; 1 Peter 4:10, 11.)

17. The Gift of Prophecy:

One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is prophecy. This gift is an identifying mark of the remnant church and was manifested in the ministry of Ellen G. White. As the Lord’s messenger, her writings are a continuing and authoritative source of truth which provide for the church comfort, guidance, instruction, and correction. They also make clear that the Bible is the standard by which all teaching and experience must be tested. (Joel 2:28, 29; Acts 2:14-21; Heb. 1:1-3; Rev. 12:17; 19:10.)

18. The Law of God:

The great principles of God’s law are embodied in the Ten Commandments and exemplified in the life of Christ. They express God’s love, will, and purposes concerning human conduct and relationships and are binding upon all people in every age. These precepts are the basis of God’s covenant with His people and the standard in God’s judgment. Through the agency of the Holy Spirit they point out sin and awaken a sense of need for a Saviour. Salvation is all of grace and not of works, but its fruitage is obedience to the Commandments. This obedience develops Christian character and results in a sense of well-being. It is an evidence of our love for the Lord and our concern for our fellow men. The obedience of faith demonstrates the power of Christ to transform lives, and therefore strengthens Christian witness. (Ex. 20:1-17; Ps. 40:7, 8; Matt. 22:36-40; Deut. 28:1-14; Matt. 5:17-20; Heb. 8:8-10; John 15:7-10; Eph. 2:8-10; 1 John 5:3; Rom. 8:3, 4; Ps. 19:7-14.)

19. The Sabbath:

The beneficent Creator, after the six days of Creation, rested on the seventh day and instituted the Sabbath for all people as a memorial of Creation. The fourth commandment of God’s unchangeable law requires the observance of this seventh-day Sabbath as the day of rest, worship, and ministry in harmony with the teaching and practice of Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath. The Sabbath is a day of delightful communion with God and one another. It is a symbol of our redemption in Christ, a sign of our sanctification, a token of our allegiance, and a foretaste of our eternal future in God’s kingdom. The Sabbath is God’s perpetual sign of His eternal covenant between Him and His people. Joyful observance of this holy time from evening to evening, sunset to sunset, is a celebration of God’s creative and redemptive acts. (Gen. 2:1-3; Ex. 20:8-11; Luke 4:16; Isa. 56:5, 6; 58:13, 14; Matt. 12:1-12; Ex. 31:13-17; Eze. 20:12, 20; Deut. 5:12-15; Heb. 4:1-11; Lev. 23:32; Mark 1:32.)

20. Stewardship:

We are God’s stewards, entrusted by Him with time and opportunities, abilities and possessions, and the blessings of the earth and its resources. We are responsible to Him for their proper use. We acknowledge God’s ownership by faithful service to Him and our fellow men, and by returning tithes and giving offerings for the proclamation of His gospel and the support and growth of His church. Stewardship is a privilege given to us by God for nurture in love and the victory over selfishness and covetousness. The steward rejoices in the blessings that come to others as a result of his faithfulness. (Gen. 1:26-28; 2:15; 1 Chron. 29:14; Haggai 1:3-11; Mal. 3:8-12; 1 Cor. 9:9-14; Matt. 23:23; 2 Cor. 8:1-15; Rom. 15:26, 27.)

21. Christian Behavior:

We are called to be a godly people who think, feel, and act in harmony with the principles of heaven. For the Spirit to recreate in us the character of our Lord we involve ourselves only in those things which will produce Christlike purity, health, and joy in our lives. This means that our amusement and entertainment should meet the highest standards of Christian taste and beauty. While recognizing cultural differences, our dress is to be simple, modest, and neat, befitting those whose true beauty does not consist of outward adornment but in the imperishable ornament of a gentle and quiet spirit. It also means that because our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit, we are to care for them intelligently. Along with adequate exercise and rest, we are to adopt the most healthful diet possible and abstain from the unclean foods identified in the Scriptures. Since alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and the irresponsible use of drugs and narcotics are harmful to our bodies, we are to abstain from them as well. Instead, we are to engage in whatever brings our thoughts and bodies into the discipline of Christ, who desires our wholesomeness, joy, and goodness. (Rom. 12:1, 2; 1 John 2:6; Eph. 5:1-21; Phil. 4:8; 2 Cor. 10:5; 6:14-7:1; 1 Peter 3:1-4; 1 Cor. 6:19, 20; 10:31; Lev. 11:1-47; 3 John 2.)

22. Marriage and the Family:

Marriage was divinely established in Eden and affirmed by Jesus to be a lifelong union between a man and a woman in loving companionship. For the Christian a marriage commitment is to God as well as to the spouse, and should be entered into only between partners who share a common faith. Mutual love, honor, respect, and responsibility are the fabric of this relationship, which is to reflect the love, sanctity, closeness, and permanence of the relationship between Christ and His church. Regarding divorce, Jesus taught that the person who divorces a spouse, except for fornication, and marries another, commits adultery. Although some family relationships may fall short of the ideal, marriage partners who fully commit themselves to each other in Christ may achieve loving unity through the guidance of the Spirit and the nurture of the church. God blesses the family and intends that its members shall assist each other toward complete maturity. Parents are to bring up their children to love and obey the Lord. By their example and their words they are to teach them that Christ is a loving disciplinarian, ever tender and caring, who wants them to become members of His body, the family of God. Increasing family closeness is one of the earmarks of the final gospel message. (Gen. 2:18-25; Matt. 19:3-9; John 2:1-11; 2 Cor. 6:14; Eph. 5:21-33; Matt. 5:31, 32; Mark 10:11, 12; Luke 16:18; 1 Cor. 7:10, 11; Ex. 20:12; Eph. 6:1-4; Deut. 6:5-9; Prov. 22:6; Mal. 4:5, 6.)

23. Christ’s Ministry in the Heavenly Sanctuary:

There is a sanctuary in heaven, the true tabernacle which the Lord set up and not man. In it Christ ministers on our behalf, making available to believers the benefits of His atoning sacrifice offered once for all on the cross. He was inaugurated as our great High Priest and began His intercessory ministry at the time of His ascension. In 1844, at the end of the prophetic period of 2300 days, He entered the second and last phase of His atoning ministry. It is a work of investigative judgment which is part of the ultimate disposition of all sin, typified by the cleansing of the ancient Hebrew sanctuary on the Day of Atonement. In that typical service the sanctuary was cleansed with the blood of animal sacrifices, but the heavenly things are purified with the perfect sacrifice of the blood of Jesus. The investigative judgment reveals to heavenly intelligences who among the dead are asleep in Christ and therefore, in Him, are deemed worthy to have part in the first resurrection. It also makes manifest who among the living are abiding in Christ, keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, and in Him, therefore, are ready for translation into His everlasting kingdom. This judgment vindicates the justice of God in saving those who believe in Jesus. It declares that those who have remained loyal to God shall receive the kingdom. The completion of this ministry of Christ will mark the close of human probation before the Second Advent. (Heb. 8:1-5; 4:14-16; 9:11-28; 10:19-22; 1:3; 2:16, 17; Dan. 7:9-27; 8:13, 14; 9:24-27; Num. 14:34; Eze. 4:6; Lev. 16; Rev. 14:6, 7; 20:12; 14:12; 22:12.)

24. The Second Coming of Christ:

The second coming of Christ is the blessed hope of the church, the grand climax of the gospel. The Saviour’s coming will be literal, personal, visible, and worldwide. When He returns, the righteous dead will be resurrected, and together with the righteous living will be glorified and taken to heaven, but the unrighteous will die. The almost complete fulfillment of most lines of prophecy, together with the present condition of the world, indicates that Christ’s coming is imminent. The time of that event has not been revealed, and we are therefore exhorted to be ready at all times. (Titus 2:13; Heb. 9:28; John 14:1-3; Acts 1:9-11; Matt. 24:14; Rev. 1:7; Matt. 24:43, 44; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 1 Cor. 15:51-54; 2 Thess. 1:7-10; 2:8; Rev. 14:14-20; 19:11-21; Matt. 24; Mark 13; Luke 21; 2 Tim. 3:1-5; 1 Thess. 5:1-6.)

25. Death and Resurrection:

The wages of sin is death. But God, who alone is immortal, will grant eternal life to His redeemed. Until that day death is an unconscious state for all people. When Christ, who is our life, appears, the resurrected righteous and the living righteous will be glorified and caught up to meet their Lord. The second resurrection, the resurrection of the unrighteous, will take place a thousand years later. (Rom. 6:23; 1 Tim. 6:15, 16; Eccl. 9:5, 6; Ps. 146:3, 4; John 11:11-14; Col. 3:4; 1 Cor. 15:51-54; 1 Thess. 4:13-17; John 5:28, 29; Rev. 20:1-10.)

26. The Millennium and the End of Sin:

The millennium is the thousand-year reign of Christ with His saints in heaven between the first and second resurrections. During this time the wicked dead will be judged; the earth will be utterly desolate, without living human inhabitants, but occupied by Satan and his angels. At its close Christ with His saints and the Holy City will descend from heaven to earth. The unrighteous dead will then be resurrected, and with Satan and his angels will surround the city; but fire from God will consume them and cleanse the earth. The universe will thus be freed of sin and sinners forever. (Rev. 20; 1 Cor. 6:2, 3; Jer. 4:23-26; Rev. 21:1-5; Mal. 4:1; Eze. 28:18, 19.)

27. The New Earth:

On the new earth, in which righteousness dwells, God will provide an eternal home for the redeemed and a perfect environment for everlasting life, love, joy, and learning in His presence. For here God Himself will dwell with His people, and suffering and death will have passed away. The great controversy will be ended, and sin will be no more. All things, animate and inanimate, will declare that God is love; and He shall reign forever. Amen. (2 Peter 3:13; Isa. 35; 65:17-25; Matt. 5:5; Rev. 21:1-7; 22:1-5; 11:15.)

----end of 1980 Fundamental Statement of Beliefs for ALL 501c3 Seventh Day Adventist members ---

"We are to proclaim the message that in 1843 and 1844 brought us out of the other churches" —Ellen White, RH Jan 19th 1905.

“The third angel's message was, and still is, a WARNING to the saints [TODAY = 2017!] to "hold fast," and not go back, and "receive" the marks (of the Papal beast=TRINITY, SUNDAY WORSHIP, Sprinkling) which the virgin band got rid of, during the second angel's [1843-1844] cry” —A Word to the "Little Flock" JAMES WHITE, Topsham, Maine April 21, 1847.

“Those who seek to remove the old landmarks (changing to the Trinity doctrine from the early SDA pioneers non-trinity stance) are NOT holding fast; they are not remembering how they have received and heard. Those who try to bring in theories that would remove the pillars of our faithconcerning the sanctuary or concerning the personality of God or of Christ [Trinity doctrine], are working as BLIND MEN. They are seeking to bring in uncertainties and to set the people of God adrift without an anchor” MR769.5.

“You think, that those who worship before the saint’s feet, (Rev 3:9), will at last be saved. Here I must differ with you; for God shewed me that this class were professed Adventists, who had fallen away, and “crucified to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.” And in the “hour of temptation,” which is yet to come, to show out every one’s true character, they will know that they are forever lost; and overwhelmed with anguish of spirit, they will bow at the saint’s feet” (EGW A Word to the Little Flock, page 12).

Isaiah 60:14 "The children of your oppressors will come bowing before you; all who despise you will bow down at your feet and will call you the City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel."
