Jesus mission was to give us the WORDS of His Father and to Die in our place so that His life and WORDS can be ours! See 2 Peter 1:4.

"When we learn the power of His Word, we shall not follow the suggestions of Satan in order to obtain food or to save our lives. Our only questions will be, What is God's command? and what His promise? Knowing these, we shall obey the one, and trust the other. In the last great conflict of the controversy with Satan those who are loyal to God will see every earthly support cut off" The Desire of Ages, p. 121.3.

"With the breath of his lips [words] shall he slay the wicked." Isaiah 11:4. "When the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God." 2 Thessalonians 1:7, 8. "Let the wicked perish at the presence of God." Psalms 68:2. "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished." Revelation 20:5.

The whole Bible is a manifestation of Christ. It is our source of power. LHU 261.3

Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY WORDS

SHALL NOT PASS AWAY."

Isaiah 40:8 8The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our Godendures forever."

1 Peter 1:25 25but the word of the LORD endures forever." And this is the word that was preached to you. Psalm 119:89 89Your word, LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.

Our sanctification is God's object in all His dealing with us. He has chosen us from eternity that we may be holy. Christ gave Himself for our redemption, that through our faith in His power to save from sin, we might be made complete in Him. In giving us His Word, He has given us bread from heaven. He declares that if we eat His flesh and drink His blood, we shall receive eternal life. 3SM 202.2Do you desire to become a follower of Christ, yet know not how to begin? Are you in darkness and know not how to find the light? Follow the light you have. Set your heart to obey what you do know of the word of God. His power, His very life, dwells in His word. As you receive the word in faith, it will give you power to obey. As you give heed to the light you have, greater light will come. You are building on God's word, and your character will be builded after the similitude of the character of Christ. MB 150.1

Ecclesiastes 12:10-14King James Version (KJV)

10 The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.

11 The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.

12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the WORDS of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

John 3:35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

2 John 1:9 "Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath BOTH the Father and the Son."

Two DISTINCT beings.

“Let the aged men who were pioneers in our work speak plainly, and let those who are dead speak also, by the reprinting of their articles in our periodicals”—Ellen White, Manuscript 62, 1905, cited in “The Integrity of the Sanctuary Message.”

Ellen White warns: “We are to REPEAT THE WORDS of the pioneers in our work, who knew what it cost to search for the truth as for hidden treasure, and who labored to lay the foundation of our work. The word given me is, Let that which these men have written in the past be reproduced”—Ellen White, Review and Herald, May 25, 1905.

Early SDA Protestant pioneer R. F. COTTRELL stated in 1869: "It may be objected, If the Father and the Son are two distinct beings, do you not, in worshipping the Son and calling him God, break the first commandment of the decalogue? "No; it is the Father's will 'That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father.' We cannot break the commandment and dishonor God by obeying him. The Fathers says of the Son, 'Let all the angels of God worship him.' Should angels refuse to worship the Son, they would rebel against the Father. Children inherit the name of their Father. The Son of God 'hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than' the angels. That name is the name of his Father. The Father says to the Son, 'Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever.' Heb.1. The Son is called 'The mighty God.' Isa. 9:6. And when he comes again to earth his waiting people will exclaim, 'This is our God.' Isa. 25:9. It is the will of the Father that we should thus honor the Son. In doing so we render supreme honor to the Father. If we dishonor the Son, we dishonor the Father; for he requires us to honor his son. "But though the Son is called God yet there is a 'God and Father of our lord Jesus Christ' 1Pet. 1:3. Though the Father says to the Son, 'Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever,' yet, that throne is given him of his Father; and because he loved righteousness and hated iniquity, he further says, 'Therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee.' Heb. 1:9. 'God hath made that same Jesus both Lord and Christ.' Acts. 2:36. The Son is 'the everlasting Father,' not of himself, nor of his Father, but of his children. His language is, 'I and the children which God hath given me.' Heb. 2:13." R. F. COTTRELL, Review and Herald, June 1, 1869.

Here is a great video showing what the Early Protestant Pioneers believed about God.

"All the messages given from 1840-1844 are to be made forcible now, for there are many people who have lost their bearings. The messages are to go to all the [501c3 SDA laodicean=foolish virgin] churches" Ellen White, 21MR 437.1. (Note: ALL the old SDA pioneer writings/doctrines aka non-marks of the beast doctrines are to be made forcible now...)

“Few realize the dangerous character of the sentiments that we are having to meet. I have been over the ground. I have been given plain words to speak concerning these specious, bewitching sentiments. If they are not most decidedly met and reproved, souls will be lost. We can not afford to be deceived. We must point our people to the old landmarks (Historical Protestant Landmark doctrines of Adventism from 1830-1894). We are to obtain strength and courage from on high, that we may obey the command given me, “Meet it.”” SpM 339.5.

As the disciple Thomas had to see to believe, and when Jesus gave him the evidence he had desired, Thomas cried out, My Lord and my God. But Jesus reproved Thomas for his unbelief. He said to him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou has believed; blessed are they that have not seen and yet believed.

"So, I saw", Ellen White writes in The Great Controversy, p. 75 in the original 1858 version, "that THOSE who had no experience in the first and second angels' messages [in 1843-1844] must receive them [today] from those who had an experience [early SDA protestant pioneers from 1830-1894: to believe on "their word" (2SM111.2)], and followed down through the messages. As Jesus was crucified, so I saw that these messages [old SDA landmarks] have been crucified. And as the disciples declared that there was salvation in no other name under heaven, given among men; so, also, should the servants of God faithfully and fearlessly declare that those who embrace but a part of the truths connected with the third message must gladly embrace the first, second and third messages as God has given them or have no lot in the matter".

Luke 24:11 And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.

John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

Learn more quotes from Ellen White here, stating that we are to REPEAT the WORDS, the testimonies of the early SDA Protestant pioneers who were faithful, keen, noble and true.

“These considerations point to the epoch of the Reformation, when the midnight darkness of the dark ages began to be scattered before the uprising and onward progress of truth and knowledge. Then appeared a body of religious teachers, aided by the then newly discovered art of printing, who so brought the scriptures out from their obscurity, opposed the pretensions of the Papal hierarchy, and by the clear teaching of the word so secured the spread of the gospel light and liberty, that they might appropriately be symbolized by an angel [The 4th angel's message is the ADDITIONAL MENTION of the corruptions that have been entering the SDA churches since 1844 and joins the third angel's message at just the right time as the Midnight Cry joined the 2nd angel's message in 1843-1844: "The message of the fall of Babylon, as given by the second angel, is repeated, with the additional mention of the corruption's which have been entering the churches since 1844. The work of this angel comes in at the right time to join in the last great work of the third angel's message as it swells to a loud cry" EW277.1; "This scripture points forward to a time when the announcement of the fall of Babylon, as made by the second angel of Revelation 14[:8], is to be repeated, with the ADDITIONAL mention of the corruptions which have been entering the various organizations (501c3 churches) that constitute Babylon (all 501c3 churches who have adopted false doctrines in common with the Papal Mother beast -like the Trinity concept, the three-one god, Eucharist, Sunday worship - all 501c3 churches become "ANOTHER BEAST" per Rev 13:11, the two horns represent Republicanism and former Protestantism in the United States), since that message was first given, in the summer of 1844" The Great Controversy 1888, p. 603.2.]coming down from heaven, and enlightening the heart [daily little choices] with his glory [character=old landmarks of the early SDA Pioneers]. The descent from heaven of the angel would then symbolize the heavenly origin of the doctrines then promulgated. His mighty power and the strong voice … would symbolize the greatness and earnestness of the movements and mighty results which were affected by it. And it could only be fulfilled by some great and mighty movement like the Reformation.”

Can you see? This great and might movement like the Reformation is God stretching His arm out the SECOND TIME to recover the remnant of His people who are in the SDA modern church - who unknowingly have rejected the great light setup in the beginning of Adventism, the OLD LANDMARKS. Learn more about the OLD LANDMARKS of Adventism here.

This is a coming out and a renewing in our minds and homes, individually, the old Adventist doctrines that our early SDA pioneers taught and believed. WE ARE ADMONISHED by the Prophetess to believe on "THEIR WORD" (2SM111.2)!

Luke 24:11 And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.

John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

Romans 10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

Jacob and Esau represent two classes. Jacob, the righteous; and Esau, the wicked. Jacob's night of wrestling and anguish represents the time of trouble through which the people of God must pass just prior to the second coming of Christ. Jeremiah refers to this time: "Wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it." Daniel, in prophetic vision looking down to this point, says: "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time; and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book." Isaiah speaks of the same time: "Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy door about thee, hide thyself for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain." ST NOV.27,1879.

"They are the protection of Christ and holy angels. The people of God are not at this time all in one place. They are in different companies, and in all parts of the earth; and they will be tried singly, not in groups. Every one must stand the test for himself" Ellen White, The Review and Herald, November 19, 1908.S.D.A. Bible Commentary.
