The 144,000 are the EPHOD upon the Breast of the High Priest in the Most Holy Place.
Pay attention to the pronouns “we”, “us”, “they”, and “our” and all the other words used, even the AND's and other seemingly simple words....Earthly nations and governments glory in the splendid order of their armies, and their uniforms are made according to ranks. By their uniform, one can recognize the rank of a soldier, and to which division or regiment he belongs. I believe the great God of Heaven has more order for His redeemed than earthly nations for their armies. We know God has far better order than any earthly government can ever devise.

Matthew 25:1 "At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom." TO MEET THE BRIDEGROOM IN THE MOST HOLY PLACE IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH IN THE SANCTUARY IN THE THIRD HEAVEN - MY WAY IS IN THE SANCTUARY - WHO IS THIS COMING UP FROM THE WILDERNESS LEANING HEAVILY UPON HER BELOVED? THE 144,000 who go into the Most Holy Place by faith, abiding in the ascended body of Christ speaking His Words here on earth and filled with His spiritual presence and power.

"Then I saw that Jesus would not leave the Most Holy Place until every case was decided either for salvation or destruction, and that the wrath of God could not come until Jesus had finished his work in the Most Holy Place, laid off his priestly attire and clothed himself with the garments of vengeance. Then Jesus will step out from between the Father and man, and God will keep silence no longer; but pour out his wrath on those who have rejected his truth (Jesus is the TRUTH, He said "I am the Truth" John 14:6). I saw that the anger of the nations (Great Brittian, France, Russia & United States of North America per Joesph Bates), the wrath of God, and the time to judge the dead, were separate events, one following the other. I saw that Michael had not stood up, and that the time of trouble, such as never was, had not yet commenced. The nations are now getting angry, but when our High Priest has finished his work in the Sanctuary, he will stand up, put on the garments of vengeance, and then the seven last plagues will be poured out. I saw that the four angels would hold the four winds until Jesus’ work was done in the Sanctuary, and then will come the seven last plagues. These plagues enraged the wicked against the righteous, and they thought that we had brought them down upon them, and if they could rid the earth of us, then the plagues would be stayed. A decree went forth to slay the saints, which caused them to cry day and night for deliverance. This was the time of Jacob’s trouble. Then all the saints cried out with anguish of spirit, and were delivered by the voice of God. Then the 144,000 triumphed. Their faces were lighted up with the glory of God. Then I was shown a company who were howling in agony. On their garments was written in large characters, “Thou art weighed in the balance, and found wanting.” I asked who this company were. The angel said, “These are they who have once kept the Sabbath and have given it up.” (professed Adventists who worship the trinity and break the Sabbath) I heard them cry with a loud voice, “We have believed in thy coming, and taught it with energy.” And while they were speaking, their eyes would fall upon their garments and see the writing, and then they would wail aloud. I saw that they had drunk of the deep waters, and fouled the residue with their feet—trodden the Sabbath under foot, and that is why they were weighed in the balance and found wanting." My brethren, the value of the evidences of truth that we have received during the past half century, is above estimate. These evidences are as treasure hidden in a field. Search for them. Study the Bible truths that for fifty years have been calling us out from the world. Present this evidence in clear, plain lines. Those who have been long in the truth and those who have recently received the truth must now dig for the buried heavenly treasure. Let every man work to the point. Study the word of God. Revive the evidences given in the past. “Search the Scriptures,” Christ said; “for in them ye think ye have eternal life, and they are they which testify of Me.”
Those who stand before the people as teachers of truth are to grapple with great themes. They are not to occupy precious time in talking of trivial subjects. Let them study the Word, and preach the Word. Let the Word be in their hands as a sharp, two-edged sword. Let it testify to past truths and show what is to be in the future are to shape our lives and that by us are to be proclaimed to the world. We are to keep abreast of the times, bearing a clear, intelligent testimony, guided by the unction of the Holy Spirit.—Manuscript 31, 1906. pp. 5, 6. (“Be Vigilant,” April 2, 1906.)
And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with cunning work.
How beautiful are thy feet with shoes, O prince's daughter! the joints of thy thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman.

Speaking of the 144,000, we read: “They are to be as kings and priests unto God….’These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth’.” This is why it is IMPERATIVE to understand the Sanctuary message - to follow the Lamb into the Most Holy Place (Bridal chamber, huppa, chuppa) and consummate the marriage to our husband, now! Truth is consummated into our daily choices via the Spirit of Christ coming into us - truth coming into our midst, Christ coming into our midst, dwelling there in His Sanctuary, our sacred bodies that are not defiled with unclean things or abominations in our thoughts, words or actions.“The Lord’s voice crieth unto the city [144,000], and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: Hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.” Micah 6:9.
Happy week saints! We shall Meet Our Guardian Angels
He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. Ps. 91:11.
Not until the providences of God are seen in the light of eternity shall we understand what we owe to the care and interposition of His angels. Celestial beings have taken an active part in the affairs of men. They have appeared in garments that shone as the lightning; they have come as men, in the garb of wayfarers. They have accepted the hospitalities of human homes; they acted as guides to benighted travelers. They have thwarted the spoiler's purpose and turned aside the stroke of the destroyer.
Though the rulers of this world know it not, yet often in their councils angels have been spokesmen. Human eyes have looked upon them. Human ears have listened to their appeals. In the council hall and the court of justice, heavenly messengers have pleaded the cause of the persecuted and oppressed. They have defeated purposes and arrested evils that would have brought wrong and suffering to God's children. To the students in the heavenly school, all this will be unfolded.
Every redeemed one will understand the ministry of angels in his own life. The angel who was his guardian from his earliest moment; the angel who watched his steps, and covered his head in the day of peril; the angel who was with him in the valley of the shadow of death, who marked his resting place, who was the first to greet him in the resurrection morning--what will it be to hold converse with him, and to learn the history of divine interposition in the individual life, of heavenly co-operation in every work for humanity!
With the word of God in his hands, every human being, wherever his lot in life may be cast, may have such companionship as he shall choose. In its pages he may hold converse with the noblest and best of the human race, and may listen to the voice of the Eternal as He speaks with men. As he studies and meditates upon the themes into which "the angels desire to look" (1 Peter 1:12), he may have their companionship.
Ellen White predicts: "This entire chapter (Revelation 13) is a revelation of what WILL [future tense] surely take place." 19MR 182.6 Manuscript Releases Volume Nineteen [Nos. 1360-1419], p. 182.6, S.D.A. Bible Commentary Vol. 7, p. 979.10
"Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the Lord, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth" Isaiah 49:18.
"Falsehoods will be urged upon the attention of God’s people, but the truth is to stand clothed in its beautiful, pure garments as the Spirit of truth" Ellen White, Ms 122, 1903 (October 9, 1903) par. 7.
“glorious white mantle”
Rev. 7:9, says, “After this [the 144,000] I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. It will be noticed this company have palms in their hands. Study notes here.
Early Writings, pages 18, 19: “As we were traveling along, we met a company who also were gazing at the glories of the place. I noticed red as a border on their garments; their crowns were brilliant; their robes were pure white. As we greeted them, I asked Jesus who they were. He said they were martyrs that had been slain for Him. With them was an innumerable company of little ones; they also had a hem of red on their garments.” Thus class 3, (the martyrs) are described as having “red on their garments”.
In Early Writings, pages 16, 17, we read: “Here on the sea of glass the 144,000 stood in a perfect square. Some of them had very bright crowns, others not so bright. Some crowns appeared heavy with stars, while others had but few. All were perfectly satisfied with their crowns. And they were all clothed with a glorious white
The 144,000 have the glorious white mantle, and stars in their crowns, harpers, harping.
The great multitude of Rev. 7:9, have palms in their hands.
The millions of all ages who were martyred, have red around their garments as a border.
Great sinners plucked as brands from the burning, but who died a natural death, who have white robes, and golden crowns, but no stars on their crowns. Same as those of Rev. 4:4.
Determine which class Enoch represents by the uniform he wears. Early Writings, page 40, says: “There I saw good old Enoch, who had been translated. On his right arm he bore a glorious palm, and on each leaf was written ‘Victory’.” Here we see Enoch, too, has the “palm” in his hand, the same as the great multitude
In Great Controversy, page 665 we read “Nearest the throne are those who were once zealous in the cause of Satan, but who plucked as brands from the burning, have followed their Saviour with deep, intense devotion. Next are those who perfected Christian characters in the midst of falsehood and infidelity, those who honored the law of God when the Christian world declared it void.”
Rev. 7:14, last part: “And he said unto me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb’.” Thus this company went through the tribulation of Daniel 12, which is in the time of the seven last plagues. Rev. 7:16, last part: “neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.”
Early Writings, Page 15 “Soon we heard the voice of God like many waters, which gave us the day and hour of Jesus’ coming. The living saints, 144,000 in number, knew and understood the voice, while the wicked thought it was thunder and an earthquake. When God spoke the time, He poured upon us the Holy Ghost, and our faces began to light up and shine with the glory of God, as Moses’ did when he came down from Mount Sinai. The 144,000 were all sealed and perfectly united. On their foreheads was written, God, New Jerusalem, and a glorious star containing Jesus’ new name. At our happy, holy state the wicked were enraged, and would rush violently up to lay hands on us to thrust us into prison, when we would stretch forth the hand in the name of the Lord, and they would fall helpless to the ground.”
Two in the world’s history have been translated without seeing death. Enoch and Elijah. Christ was translated, but saw death.
Testimonies to Ministers, page 475: “Prophecy must be fulfilled. The Lord says: ‘Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord’. Somebody is to come in the spirit and power of Elijah and when he appears, men may say: ‘You are too earnest, you do not interpret the Scriptures in the proper way. Let me tell you how to teach your message.
Moses was translated after seeing death just as Christ: “Moses upon the mount of transfiguration was a witness to Christ’s victory over sin and death. He represented those who shall come forth from the grave at the resurrection of the just.” Desire of Ages, page 421.
The 144,000 are also known as Mount Zion, transfigured on the Mount of God... transformed into the image of Christ - the great cleaver of truth - transformed by the Three Angel's Messages! Speaking of the 144,000, we read: “They are to be as kings and priests unto God….’These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth’.” Therefore, the 144,000 are priests, and Christ the High Priest, (and King). It may be said that when probation closes Christ takes off His priestly garments, and is Priest no longer, but there need be no confusion in this, for we read in Isa. 66:22, 23: “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before Me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before Me saith the Lord.” Thus we see that there is to be a system of worship in the new heaven and earth which will require Priests and Kings.
Ezekiel 9 is fulfilled, for the prophecy of Ezekiel is similar to Elijah’s experience with Israel in the days of Ahab. Elijah’s work in the days of Ahab, king of Israel, was to prove to Israel that they had apostatized, and after doing so, he took the priests (144,000 are King and Priests of the New Covenant = the 2 Charts, the 1843 and 1850 charts, the two breasts, two paps that feed and nourish God's people), or prophets, and cut their heads off, and threw them in the brook. Such was the spirit and power of Elijah.Testimonies to Ministers, page 445: “This sealing of the servants of God [the 144,000: Rev. 7] is the same that was shown to Ezekiel in vision.” Then the sealing of the 144,000 is the same as Ezekiel 9, and the marking by the man with the writer’s inkhorn is the seal. As soon as the marking is done, “the five men with the slaughter weapons go after him and slay both old and young, both maids and little children, and women. And they began at the ancient men which were before the house.”
“with the spirit and the power of Elijah.” The prophet Elijah thought all Israel had apostatized, and that he alone was left, but the Lord said He had 7,000 men that had not bowed a knee to Baal. “Seven” signifies a complete or perfect number, which stands as a symbol, in this instance meaning a complete number of thousands. The complete number of the very elect, the Bride of Christ chosen is 144,000. Chosen because they live in these last days, during the Third Angel's message ERA. “All who have died in faith under the third angel's message come forth from the tomb glorified, TO HEAR GOD'S COVENANT OF PEACE with those who have kept his law. 'They also which pierced Him,' those that mocked and derided Christ's dying agonies, and the most violent opposers of his truth and his people, are raised to behold him in his glory, and to see the honor placed upon the loyal and obedient” –{The Spirit of Prophecy Volume 4, p. 454.1}.
"The graves were opened, and those who had died in faith under the third angel's message, keeping the Sabbath, came forth from their dusty beds, glorified, to hear the covenant of peace that God was to make with those who had kept His law." Early Writings, p. 285.1

"Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore" Ezekiel 37:26.
“those who have fallen asleep, having the seal of God [SIGN, STAMP, MARK, SEAL, SIGNET RING], will have a special resurrection, and will be called forth to hear the covenant of peace, and to behold their Lord as He comes in the clouds of heaven” –{Stephen Haskell, 1905 SNH, SSP 252.1} The Story of the Seer of Patmos - Page 252.
So, like Elijah, we know the whole church has drifted into the world (bowed a knee to Baal-trinity). Thus Elijah stands as a type of the 144,000 living, translated saints, raised back to life at the beginning of the 7th Plague which is also the start of the ONE HOUR New World Order.
