Those who have "died in the faith" aka under or during the Era Third Angel's Message (1845-1848 until the close of probation for the house of God) are a part of the number who make up the 144,000

Ellen White mentioned MANY PIONEERS who had DIED IN THE FAITH (under or during the Era of the Third Angel's Message, who accepted, lived and taught the 7th day Sabbath (the door into the City of God). I have a ongoing list of these people that I have compiled and am still compiling as I run across the quotes....

For example:

1. Ellen White writes about her husband, James White, "he has fallen at his post, and, with others who have died in the faith, he awaits the coming of the Lifegiver, who will call him from his gloomy prison-house to a glorious immortality.” {RH, November 20, 1883 par. 6}

“All who have died in faith under [during the Era of (1845-1848 until probation closes] the third angel's message come forth from the tomb glorified, TO HEAR GOD'S COVENANT OF PEACE [Daniel 12:2; Rev 1:7] with those who have kept his law. 'They also which pierced Him,' those that mocked and derided Christ's dying agonies, and the most violent opposers of his truth and his people, are raised to behold him in his glory, and to see the honor placed upon the loyal and obedient” –{The Spirit of Prophecy Volume 4, p. 454.1}.

"I would not spend time at the grave to cause a shadow of gloom to beset my pathway, because I know that Jesus passed into the prison house and He came forth, and this should be a comfort to all who have lost friends who have died in the faith. I am left here to take the work of my husband, to carry it forward, and I have no complaints to make for the gate of heaven is ajar and light is shining on my pathway.

I would say to all, Come to Jesus just as you are. He asks for your heart. He has paid the price for us. Now He wants our affections, our intelligence—in fact, all our powers belong to Him. And after we have done all it is a small gift on our part."

"I labored for a young man who was an infidel. He wanted me to place my hand on his head to see how low his reverence was, and he said it was impossible for him to honor God. I told him that he must. I labored and prayed with him, and at times its seemed like a hopeless case, but the Spirit of the Lord followed this young man until one day while on a steamer going down the Mississippi he yielded his stubborn will and gave his heart to God. It makes no difference about the head; if we only have a willingness, the Lord will assist us in overcoming as He did this young man. This man now stands at the head of the General Conference. Now that the Lord has worked for him, he knows how to work for infidels.

God permits affliction to come on us at times that we may know how to sympathize with others who are passing through sorrow. The Lord has given me my work, and even when physicians have despaired of my life I have felt it my duty to labor on, even if I died at my post of duty. Our heavenly Father gives us experiences so that we can know how to help others. When the youngest branch of my family was broken off and I could no longer have my infant by my side, I knew better how to sympathize with the mourning mother. When I laid away the oldest member of my family, Jesus supplanted him, and now I can tell mothers to go to Jesus. When the unexpected blow came to him who had stood by my side for thirty-six years [JAMES SPRINGER WHITE = her husband] it was then that I could lean on my Saviour. I was not left alone, for Christ is a father to the widow. Everyone can benefit others by his own experience.

We may work intelligently and be laborers for God, and in [our] doing this work He will give us strength. If we sow we shall also reap, and an abundant harvest will be gathered. In order to work the works of God we must have the help of Christ. We should not be satisfied by working out our own salvation, but we must work for the salvation of others. There are hundreds around us that need our personal efforts. It will be our rejoicing to see souls saved through our instrumentality. The work done here for God will show throughout all ages, so all should work while there is an opportunity. There is a work for all to do, and if we will let the refining influence of the Spirit of God sanctify us through the Word we can be fitted to reach others, and the glory that awaits the faithful is beyond our comprehension. “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9.

Then let us take hold of the lifework that we might bring others to see the importance of truth. There is a heaven for us to win, and a life that will measure with the life of God. Can you not give to God the little time you have, and also your best affections? Give Jesus your polluted soul, and have it washed from all its stains. “When the power of God testifies as to what is truth, that truth is to stand FOREVER as the truth. No after-suppositions, contrary to the light God has given are to be entertained. Men will arise with interpretations of Scripture which are to them truth, but which are NOT truth. The truth for this time, God has given us as a foundation for our faith. He Himself has taught us what is truth. One will arise, and still another, with new light which contradicts the light that God has given under the demonstration of His Holy Spirit. A few are still alive who passed through the experience gained in the establishment of this truth. God has graciously spared their lives to repeat and repeat till the close of their lives, the experience through which they passed even as did John the apostle till the very close of his life. And the standard- bearers who have fallen in death, are to speak through the reprinting of their writings. I am instructed that thus their voices are to be heard. The special enemies of Christ will also be raised to life 15 day prior to the 2nd coming of Christ to SEE the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords coming in the clouds (144,000 symbolize clouds + literal clouds) of Heaven (they will then be slain by the brightness of his coming): "They also which pierced Him" (Revelation 1:7), those that mocked and derided Christ's dying agonies (Zach.12: 10; see also John 19:34; Psalm 22:16; Isa. 26:19)

And as the disciples declared that there was salvation in no other name under heaven, given among men; so, also, should the servants of God faithfully and fearlessly declare that those who embrace but a part of the truths connected with the third message must gladly embrace the first, second and third messages as God has given them or have no lot in the matter".
2. Think my friends, of all the people in the last 150 years have put their shoulder to the wheel to combat the truth as taught by the early SDA Protestant pioneers? THINK! From the top of my head I can name a ton of people. I believe THESE wicked men who have created the COUNTERFEIT 3 Angel's messages taught in the 1904 CORPORATION and the 501c3 GENERAL CONFERENCE CORPORATION today will be raised back to life 15 days prior to the 2nd coming of Christ to be alive to see the one they have rejected coming as King of Kings and Lord of Lords in the clouds of Heaven and THEN will be destroyed by the brightness of his coming! Here's a few that come to mind because their works do follow them: Wicked John Harvey Kellogg; Wicked LeRoy E Froom [On the 14 December 1955, Leroy Froom in a letter to Reuben Figuhr wrote, “I was publicly denounced in the chapel at the Washington Missionary College by Dr. B. G. Wilkinson as the most dangerous man in this denomination.” This took place in the mid 1940's. I believe Dr. B.G. Wilkinson had very good reason for saying this, much to the disgruntlement of Froom].

3. “The “mystery of iniquity” began to work in the church in Paul’s day. It finally crowded out the simplicity of the gospel, and corrupted the doctrine of Christ, and the church went into the wilderness. Martin Luther, and other reformers, arose in the strength of God, and with the Word and Spirit, made mighty strides in the Reformation. The greatest fault we can find in the Reformation is, the Reformers stopped reforming. James Springer White (1821-1881) (60 years old) (many do not realize that James Springer White was martyred by a untimely death working for Christ because he wore himself out carrying a heavy a load and those who could have helped him did not) who along with others who have died in the faith will be raised up 15 days (one hour) prior to the 2nd Advent of Christ per this quote by Sister White: “Many of the pioneers, who shared with us these trials and victories, remained true till the close of life, and have fallen asleep in Jesus. Among these is the faithful warrior who for thirty-six years stood by my side in the battle for truth. God used him as a teacher and leader to stand in the front ranks during the severe struggles of those early days of the message; but he has fallen at his post, and, with others who have died in the faith, he awaits the coming of the Lifegiver, who will call him from his gloomy prison-house to a glorious immortality.” {RH, November 20, 1883 par. 6}

"8th verse, "And their dead bodies shall lie in the streets of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified." This verse teaches us, that the word of God would be made a dead letter, by the authority of one of the principal kingdoms out of one of the ten into which the Roman government was divided, and that they would be guilty of the same sins that Sodom and Egypt were guilty of; and, also, of crucifying our Lord, that is, in a spiritual sense.
