Equations of Circles

Students need to already know how to find the midpoint of a line segment and how to find the distance between two points.

The following are videos covering how to write, recognize and use the equation of a circle in both standard form, and general form. Knowledge of square roots, the distance formula, and completing the square is expected in some problems. Covers center of the circle, radius, graphing circles, writing equations. Several types of problems and examples are done in the set of videos.
