I wish for you and those you love a beautiful new year. I hope you are surrounded by warm, kind, loving, peaceful, joyful people and animals. I am lucky to live with our 3 cats, who make sure I take time to sit down and relax and pet them a lot! I’m especially grateful for all of the wonderful family and friends in my life.

MY SPECIAL LIST
If you aren't Jewish or aren't sure if you are Jewish, and are wondering why you got this email from me, it's probably because you fall into at least one category below. I add to the list each year. If you ARE Jewish, I'm sure you fall into at least one category as well!
1) Everyone thinks you're Jewish because you either look Jewish, act Jewish, or hang out with Jews.
2) You have or at one time had a partner, boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse, significant other, parent, grandparent, great-great grandparent, sibling, child, grandchild, aunt, uncle, cousin, inlaw, etc. who was Jewish. (So if you are related to me, you're in!)
3) You used to be Jewish. (And everyone says you still are...once a Jew, always a Jew!)
4) You're around Jews a lot.
5) You've attended a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, Jewish wedding, and/or a Passover Seder.
6) You're funny.
7) You're Catholic, Greek, or Italian, so you totally relate to Jews.
9) You think you are Jewish.
10) I think you are Jewish.
11) You wish you were Jewish.
12) You are a good friend, or maybe I just like you a lot.
13) You got on my Shana Tova list years ago, and can't get off!
14) I'm thinking maybe you don't get enough emails.
15) You always remember the Jewish holidays!
16) You say or know what Oy Vey, Tush, Shmuck or any other number of Yiddish words mean.

44) You like hanging out at the Oneg after the band plays at Temple Solel. We are usually the last to leave. (Covid changed this!)
