Most of my wealth is built through working for my money. The money I worked for works for me mostly through savings and the rest of it through investments. I still find a saving account the safest way of investing.
I invest mostly in the things I like and enjoy. By doing this I can have a bit of influence on how the product is produced and the service which surround the product. There are a lot of ways to invest and a lot of ways to earn on investments.
Databeet earns mostly on small parts of a project. I rarely take upon me big projects. I enjoy doing small projects or small part of a big project that is granted to me. All the projects Databeet works on are paid in euros and with VAT (btw). On one of my sabbaticals (Tussenpensioen) I had an international business Butterfly Effect and was paid through board and food for 2 parts of my travel. I like investing in companies with a plan, but there must be a bit of safety on my investment. That is why I use crowdfunding platforms. The crowdfunding platforms are the ones that have to do all the work for the money I invest in the small business that I choose. One of the advantages of the lockdowns was that a lot had to be done online and people started working and learning more from home.
