My plan is similar to model chassis similar to Aerial sports car but with
--only 1 rear wheel (like T-Rex) , &
--possibly 2 in-line seats in a narrower fuselage (like a motorcycle), &
--aerodynamically enclosed
--powered by a 30hp electric motor & LiFePO4 batteries.
Also inspired by Acabion
Kara's friend Isaac is a marketing guy for them. He wants to setup local micro-factories. I suggested he talk to Billy @ Duncan Tuning. Open-source for car design & building through forums like for software development. Isaac suggested I start a thread on the eRT (eReverseTrike) at Local-Motors forum to see who would help contribute toward its design & production.

How to make compound curves easily, with minimal labor?
The basic shape of the fuselage of this could even fairly easily be made of plywood & overlaid with fiberglass.
& Formula Race cars----Avoidance of Compound curves would simplify the construction process for little guys.
Isaac told me they are looking into avoiding welding in favor of an aluminum rivet+Glue process & sheet metal like Lotus Elise chassis by folding aluminum sheets instead of welding aluminum tubes. The glue process can (soon) be done at room temperature.
Reverse Trike---use ATV front end for lightweight, strong, lots of travel, already assembled
