Use the PortaPole to hold up the top point of an inverted V dipole.
The antenna wire provides guy wires in 2 directions--all you need is 2 guy wires in other directions. It needs to be a slightly sturdy pole.
The spools take up the extra length of wire so the wire is length of frequency. They act as baluns. Use soft, flexible wire
