They each put on a few at a time +cost abt $30 ea. Not massively cost-effective, but fresh. If I learn to make the substrate, I should be able to "seed" it from these. Should be able to keep them outdoors in logs, under trees along W fence, but that will have to wait till next Feb or so, when I will have to find a fresh maple tree to cut 4-8" diameter sections 3" long. I will hang them from the W fence, with a misting sprinkler on them once weather gets warmer. I think I should be able to impregnate them from spores from these 2 starts, by cutting grooves & burying mycelium sawdust in groove, then covering w/ beeswax, rather than inserting dowel plugs.
