Sophomores
Consider these throughout the year also...
Keep your grades high.
Keep social media clean.
Keep good attendance-Showing up for class has a huge impact on a student’s academic success starting in Kindergarten and continuing throughout high school.
Talk to teachers, principals, other students/parents.
Ask questions.
Plan and set goals.
Attend meetings/workshops
Use Tassel during your 4 years of high school to collect anything that might help your resume or applications, whether for work, college, or scholarships.
Take the ACT-Students might want to think about taking the ACT early depending on what they want to do the next few years. ACT scores affect the type of high school and college courses that students may be required to take.
The bottom line is that these factors play a huge part of a student’s success. Do not wait until your senior year to prepare!
