Hi! I am Ms. Morgan. I was the school counselor at Farmington Elementary for 9 years. I was also the counselor at Fancy Farm for a year and GCMS for 6 years. I am lucky to know many of the students at the high school due to this. I am excited to continue the relationships that I have with the students and parents as they develop into young adults.
I graduated from Murray High School. I earned my B.A. from Western Kentucky University, and a M.A. in Secondary Education and a M.A. in School Counseling from Murray State University. I spent a total of 11 years as a teacher at GCHS before transitioning into my role as a school counselor. I look forward to serving the students, parents and staff of GC!
I am a familiar face at GCHS, but the 24-25 school year is my first year as a counselor; before this position, I taught English, specifically seniors. I graduated from Lyon County High School and then attended Murray State. This is my 19th year in education and 17th at GCHS. I am excited about working with seniors to help make their transition from high school to after as smooth as possible and help them find the best path for them!
