CAPTAIN ALEXANDER P. GALLINO

Captain Alexander P. Gallino is a master mariner of long experience on the lakes, never having lost a man or a vessel; and during the many years he has followed the lakes he has never been ashore but three months during any season of navigation. If this article is correct and the first details listed above are accounted as true... then I must admit I am having difficulties tracing him.  If on the other hand his mother's name is stated incorrectly here then I would suggest that this Alexander is the son of Pierre Galarneau and Isabella of Lambton Co.  His grandparents on his father's side would be Pierre Galarneau and Julie Cuillerier.

Susan had givn birth 6 times but only 3 are living as per 1900c. By the time of the 1910 census it appears he is living without his wife as a border, but by 1930 his a widow.  Currently I suspect the following

Alexander (b1849) and Susan (b1853 )
Bernard (b1874), Florence (b1879), Hugh (b1885)

There is another Alexander, married to an Anna Turgeon about the same time having several kids.  This is probably another Alexander because the birth of some of the children are prior to the 1900 census but later then the kids listed with Susan. Use this search to verify
