If there is an aircraft type that you would like to see added to the FSE Game World, please use the following process:
Understand that new types are added slowly - maybe one per month or so, on average. Don't expect your request to be expedited. This is especially true for the "hot new plane of the month" that was just released by a developer. That fact will NOT influence our decision to add the new type, or place it at the top of the priority list.
Understand that there is a back-log of new type requests. Please review the list of pending requests before submitting your own request to avoid duplicating the request.
Make sure that the aircraft type you are requesting meets the criteria for being included in the FSE Game World (see criteria list below)
If the type meets the criteria, and is not already on the request list, start a new thread in the Aircraft Nominations Forum, and include the following information
- Make and Model
- Links to as many download files as possible for all available simulators
-- Indicate which simulator the link is for
-- Indicate if the download is freeware or payware
Good to excellent freeware models of the submitted aircraft should be available for download. Aircraft that do not have freeware models are not usually added
Post-WW2 aircraft should have had at least 50 produced
Post-WW2 aircraft should have at least 1 of its type still flying
Military aircraft must have a record of civilian use
Pre-WW2 aircraft are handled on a case-by-case basis as 'Vintage' aircraft
The aircraft must be real
The aircraft must fit into the FSE world as envisioned by the creator of FSE and the Board of Directors. This will often be a somewhat intangible or undefinable standard. We know it when we see it, but we can't necessarily articulate it
