Requesting Additional Airframes

Overview

At times it may be necessary to add additional airframes. If all available airframes of a particular type have been purchased and are either not available at all, or are being sold by private owners at greatly inflated prices, then the BoD reserves the right to add additional airframes to the game world as they see fit. This is done to reduce the possibility of players buying up all available airframes of one particular model and then price gouging to make a substantial profit, at other players expense.

Reasons for Airframe Numbers Increase

Valid reasons to request an increase in a certain type of aircraft

• • None for sale

  • Aircraft for sale are marked up considerably - or obvious gouging is occurring (no set number / admin will make a judgement call)

Non-valid reasons to request an increase in a certain type of aircraft that has not been limited*

• • None in my country/area

  • No system aircraft for sale (if plenty of private sales are available at non-gouging prices)

* For various reasons, the following aircraft are limited in number and cannot be increased:

Request Process

To request additional numbers of a particular type of airframe, please PM (on the FSE Communities site) the current BoD aircraft fleet manager. Be sure to include full aircraft type details (manufacturer and model), together with any other applicable information. The BoD responsibility listings can be found on the FSE team page.

Note: Often the fastest way to find an aircraft in the location you want, and at a reasonable price, is to post a Wanted to Buy (WTB) on the aircraft sales board of the forum.
