Graduate Student Symposium

OVERVIEW

The annual Graduate Student Symposium (GSS) gives SFRC graduate students the opportunity to practice their scientific communication skills and receive valuable feedback from peers and professors. This 1-2 day event in Spring is organized and executed jointly among students, faculty, and staff. Students are encouraged to to present completed research or works in progress (usually through oral presentation) and proposed research (usually through a poster). In addition to the formal presentations, a social is also organized to promote FGSO's goal of building an SFRC community.
