This site will do a search for surnames that have been indexed all over Poland http://genealogyindexer.org. Includes Yikor books indexed, historical directories, address books, military lists of officiers and casualties in Poland and Russia.
Opoka (Catholic Churches in Poland) Opoka. Opoka is the website of the Catholic Church in Poland. Click on the map for the diocese of interest. This will bring up a list of the various diocese [Diecezja] and Archidiocese [Archidiecezja]. Click on the link to the website for the diocese. Click on "Parafie" to get the individual parishes within the diocese. Addresses and links to websites are included.
SGGEE.org is a site with links to the Lutheran parishes in Russian Poland.

A link to online church record indexes http://www.ksiegi-parafialne.pl/. This site tells you if a parish has been indexed on one of the many indexing sites including Geneteka, etc. Click on "Wojewodztwa" and a drop down menu will appear with the names of the various regions. Click on your region of interest to find the name of the parish [Parafia] or USC [civil registration office]. The dates included in the index are listed in the next three columns which include (1) Christenings and/or births; (2) Marriages; (3) Deaths. Strona www refers to the website where the indexes will be found. [This link is no longer available].
Link to births, marriages and deaths online: genealodzy.pl. Click on "Metryki". For example: Type in "Warszawa" in search box [Szukaj]. Various parishes will come up. Choose evangelical and click on the year of the birth, marriage, or death, that you need. SKU=Index to the records.

Civil Registration
To find the addresses, phone numbers, web and e-mail addresses for civil registration offices in Poland search this http://www.usc.pl/zasieg. Click on "Urzedy" for list of civil registration offices. Parish information is also available on the site. Click on "Parafie" for list of parishes. You may also search for a Diocese and locate the parishes within that diocese.
