Empathy Tent goes to CA State Republican Convention Sacramento
Friday, February 22 and 23, 2019
Join the Empathy Tent Team as we go to the California State Republican Convention in Sacramento. We will talk with Republicans about taking part in Empathy Circles across the political divide.
Edwin, Meagan and Zak, went to the California Republican convention in Sacramento. We;
* Wore our Empathy t-shirts - we were very visible,
* Offered listening
* Facilitated empathic dialogue
* Invited Republicans to take part in online Empathy Circles. http://www.EmpathyCircle.com
* make connections, gathered names and contact info to follow up with.
* had enjoyable conversations and advocated for a culture of empathy.
* I talked with people like John Cox, the past GOP gubernatorial candidate and many others.
If felt good to be reaching out and taking action. Everyone was very friendly and many people came to say they support dialogue and Empathy.
We found a table that was located in a hall between the exhibits and some conference rooms and set up a listening station. Thousands of people walked past and many stopped to talk with us.
We are looking forward to going to the Democrats conventions in June in San Francisco. Joins us there to advocate for a culture of empathy.
Sign up here to join us.. Maybe we can even get a booth.
