Human-Centered Design for Political Activists” Workshop
The Founders of IDEO are the same founders of the Stanford d.school.
IDEO has an off the shelf 8 hour (day long) free design training that anyone can put on.
I wanted to propose we organize and facilitate the day long training here in Berkeley.
Design has not been used much in political activism and I think it is a need toolset for adding empathy, creativity and innovation. We could hold a training.

In the training, participants form teams and can actually design, prototype and test a real practical initiative together..

We just need a team to help host it.
Perhaps people from the Empathy, Training and Big Ideas teams would like to host this?
The day long training challenge is for redesigning the healthcare process,
but we can change the design challenge to do an actual political based project.
