Elizabeth Birthday Celebrations -1978

The rain was pouring down and the mud on the oval was treacherous underfoot -but the band was there for this important annual event.

We had played in the rain earlier in the day at the John Martin's Pageant, and we played at a ball in the evening ..... 

so the afternoon was spent drying out our gear !!!!
